Hello.. Part 1 of 5 of my first mini series :) A 2000km journey BY TRAIN from the UK to IBIZA..... would you make this journey? A HUGE favour! Please subscribe if you haven't already! Its free and helps the support the channel. Cheers Nick
Haven’t heard from you for a long while Nick. Really enjoyed your vlogs. Can only surmise that no content in off season means you may have quit. Great shame. Thanks for your input in the past.
Nope haven't given up totally just a lot going on work wise and preparing for the summer. Hoping to get the final instalment of my 5 day trip (Very late i know) but better late than never!!
Hi Nick, brilliant video as always, looking forward to the next one. When we visited Paris years ago it was really busy as the rugby world Cup was on . Enjoy your trip x
Absolutely Brilliant vlog Nick! Really appreciate you sharing your journey with us , places look great . I still fancy driving to Ibiza at some point, but that idea seems to have died a death since Covid . Who knows something might ignite it again in the future? Thanks again mate 😎👍😎
Just been looking at some cheap flights to Ibiza and have come across your channel. Loving this journey. We’re on dry Jan too!! Feeling your pain! Love you threw the costings in too. You’re really informative. Cheers 🍻
Fantastic vlog as always Nick and razor sharp editing. This is a great idea for a video - I’d love to do this trip one day so looking forward to part 2!
Hi Nick..Love watching your vlogs as we love Ibiza. My husband and I have holidayed there for over 30 years always looking at other destinations and always ending up there !!! We like the Santa Eulalia area and was wondering if you knew what is happening in Cala Llonga with the refurbishment of the Sirenis Cala Llonga ? Keep your vlogs coming. Many thanks if you could give us an update it would be appreciated.
Thank you for that - appreciate the feedback! Ibiza is a special place and I know what you mean... you can travel many places but hard to beat Ibiza. I will try to get over to Cala Llonga a little closer to the summer - big changes everywhere on the island at the moment
@@NickIbizahire One of my brothers discovered your channel. We’re both enjoying following your vlogs. You really put a lot of effort in and we appreciate it. Well done and definitely looking forward to your future vlogs. Watching from Aussie
Btw. I am planning to go to Ibiza by car. From the Baltic coast, through Denia. 2883 km. Maybe we'll try it in 2023. Our children are afraid of flying ;) We flew only three hours from Berlin by plane, but by car..... it's the trip of a lifetime. From Poland to San Atonio Ibiza Spain :)
Hi Nick, I have a rather peculiar question that is absolutely not related to your video. I am a fan of you and the White Island, hence the question is directed to the right person. We noticed that there is no direct sale of smoked fish in Ibiza... Here in Poland, by the seaside, you can buy and eat great smoked fish from probably around the world every step of the way. Halibut, eel, redfish, salmon, cod, herring, pollock, hake, tuna... Is hot smoked fish not welcome in Spain??
Hi!I'm from Spain and, from my point of view, we love all kind of fishes but, due to our weather, we really prefer fresh or salted ones acomplished with some mediterranean salad and a glass of white wine. Besides, I think that smoked food is more frecuent in coldest countries where this way of preservation is prefered. But, to be honest, a slice of smoked salmon with cream cheese on a piece of toast is the most
@@XentteWorld This explains why we haven't seen smoked fish in Ibiza. By the Baltic Sea, where we live, smoked fish is eaten hot straight from the smokehouse, even on hot days. It is such an attraction and a tourist tradition. Just like the popular fried fish with chips and salads made of vegetables and olive oil. However, very popular are smoked fish eaten cold, necessarily with pieces of bread. Smoked halibut and salmon smoked in "cold smoke" are the most popular here. However, the smoked eels are by far the best. my wife and I were wondering if such a business with smoked fish would have a chance to succeed in Ibiza.
When arriving at Paris from St Pancras didn’t you have the impression coming in the third world? The neighbourhood of Gare du Nord is so dirty, dangerous and full of bad guys! By the way instead of drinking a coke and eating French fries you should have tasted a Sauternes with foie gras. Anyway have a good trip down to wonderful Ibiza!
For sure its pretty rough around Gare du Nord but straight onto the metro and into the city centre :) The day I left Paris (from Gare du Lyon) there was a incident with a knife at Gare du Nord..... can happen anywhere though so just have to be aware......
I also follow LA channel. I live and work in SJ where I have my own firm. 22 years strong. Let me know where the villa is. If you need anything let me know. I am not licensed in Texas hence I can't help here. Originally from Los Gatos. Google me I am every where.

Hi, I'm really not sure of that one sorry! Seafood is popualr but you are correct - you rarely see the smoked version
