Did you find the electric scraper took more wood than you wanted taken out? I've got a 2004 aluminum jon i want to re carpet. Removal has been my deterent. Thx
@@t.j.3873 If you're going that route, Naphtha and a few other things have less residual odor and work well too. The gasoline thing never stops stinking.
Oh I really needed this video. I gave up I was going to put new carpet over the old carpet but after watching this video. Problem solved.
Thank you sooo much. I'm removing carpet from an aluminum pool deck, this helped a lot.
Thanks for posting big help!
Have you tried pressure washing?

THANK YOU!! MY HANDS LOVE YOU❤
Appreciate it boss man 💪
Shouldn't you coat that floor for water protection before you lad down the new carpet
WOW! Thanks!
Use a buffer with a 60 Grit sand paper
Lord that deck is some bad shape. Surprised you ain’t falling through.
Sandblasting works too
Or you could just pour gasoline on all the carpet let it sit for 5 minutes and it just pulls right off.
Does that really work or were you just messing with him?
@@Jerry-xx8dx no , it really releases the carpet glue and turns it to jelly and then you just pull the carpet off.

Lmao that floor is so soft. Just put new carpet over it. Should be fine 😂
Carpet should be banned on boats . Fish blood and guts 😃
Vinyl vinyl vinyl
Easier? Definitely slower
I could have told you that.
You need to stop that foul mouth!
