Ha I just asked on a another video how was the van holding up. I want to get a van and I don’t know anyone with ram promaster. Everyone I know loves ford or the Chevy/gmc vans. Couple guys said the rms don’t hold up long term. So I figured why not ask on UA-cam to the only other person I know who has one and driven it all over the states.
In all honesty it hasn’t been bad at all for the 160k miles I’ve put on it. I’ve only run into 1 issue with it previously, and I’ve spent less than 5k on repairs and maintenance over the last 5 years. It would probably be in better overall shape if it didn’t have a boat behind it 95% of the time. The issue I’m dealing with now was 100% user error on my part, and it could’ve been avoided. I killed my battery, put a charger on it, and then tried to jump it at the same time. Turns out the PDC doesn’t like all that voltage and I fried it up. I got to learn a bunch trying to fix it, so not a total loss. I’ve got so much love for the van.

I’m glad to hear it holds up. Some guys hate them in the construction field. Say they don’t last. I believe it’s how you drive it. Anyway love the channel and can’t wait for the next video. I love spinning setups from Shimano but I preferably use a 6’10 medium poison baitcaster with a bfs Aldebaren for wacky.
