The short in the harness that is popping the fuse should be your first move, until you get that stopped the pulse generator or anything else doesn't matter. If you have continuity between the red and ground of the engine case through ths pulse generator then it is likely the white wire has come loose at the solder joint or broken from fatigue somewhere between the pulse generator and the plug you are probing. I've seen many 3 and 4 wheelers with two wires the hang by the seat that look like they should be plugged together but if you do it blows the fuse and will not run. I would see if they flipped it and then noticed these wires and thought they got unplugged from each other. It is possible that this short that is going on found it's ground through the pulse generator. Just a few armchair mechanic thoughts to consider. I know fully that you don't really need any help from your fans but it is fun to participate! Have a great day!
You mentioned a portable CDI box, any details? I also have a grizzly 600 with no spark. Checked everything in troubleshooting chart, still no spark. Wonder if could be the flywheel?
speaking of snow,i heard there were flurries up your way this morning.... freeze advisory in effect tonight,i guess you wont be buying anymore snow mobiles going forward
You saved my tail! Lol I had a faulty connection with the ground wire and coil pack causing inconsistent spark. Cleaned that, fixed it rode around for a while, parked it. Tried again the next day and again no spark.... long story short I hit the kill switch which I never do and completely didn't think of that until I was installing my new coil pack and wire and still had no spark. Haha saw your comment and did a face palm 😅
You left us hanging on the ding in your wifes' car!.What did she say?,if you can repeat it without getting into trouble with UA-cam!.Or are you nursing a "black eye" and we won't see you on-screen until it clears up.
