First clip was from Tivat Airport in Montenegro LYTV. During the 2000s, Russians used to fly IL-86s regulary during the summer months there, and they were usually overloaded with tourists, so late take-offs were pretty much happening all the time, you can find several older clips capturing this. I remember these planes from when I was a kid, very loud... Tupolev 154s and Tupolev 204s were also a regular sight back then.
Geez.. only a matter of time before it goes wrong
But also having residential properties, at the end of a runway is madness in itself
Wow 😮😮
@@mortenfrosthansen84 exactly
What about IL-96s ?
0:16 we pay for the whole runway, we use the whole runway 👍
For as long as possible....lol
@@rustyneuron😂
With the F-15 clip, that's a bit of a theme for this video.
aeroscure reference?
yes yees, and 'plot twist' etc etc
I gotta say, I really love your videos
First clip is fake. That plane doesn’t even have ‘Aerosucre’ on the side!.
It is an aerosucre in its soul!
Nonetheless the jokes about this type of aircraft were saying that it only takes off due to natural curvature of the planet)
The only widebody to be equipped with low bypass turbofans and a wing with big swept angle - a recipe from a previous era of jets like 707)
😂🤣
It was chartered by Aerosucre who insisted they supply their own pilots.
Aerosucre needs to find pilots somewhere!
"IL86 nearly overruns the runway"
(Me): "Looks like a normal IL86 takeoff to me."
Think what could be happen if Aerosucre used Il-86…..😁😁😁😁😁
2:32 Amazing sound!
🎵"Transformers: robots in disguise..."
🤖 👀
And those flaps are bigger than the wings of a regular aircraft...
A380 is a great aircraft.
@@EleanorPeterson 😂😂😅
Thank you for featuring my clip, love the video!
Man that A320 at about 1:46 had some hellish wind to deal with. Not sure of the wind direction or runway orientation, but can see how a go-around might be in order if he hit wind shear and suddenly lost some needed altitude. Idk, I am no pilot except a computer chair pilot.
Nice catch by our Ted there with the F15 ❤
"Third one I've seen."
He is, of course, referring to the rare sight of an F-15, right?😁😁😁
What caused all that molten metal to come off? I'd understand sparks and have seen sparks, but that was completely molten and quite a bit of it lol
@@jonslg240 nothing but sparks :) just a shit ton of them
Thank you so much for your regular source of super aircraft videos; loving it! ✈️🍾❤️
Oh wow thank you so much for featuring our video on your awesome channel! ❤
Thank you for sharing.😊 Merry Christmas and Happy New Years.
Good video. I didn’t even realize that the F-15 had a tail hook. Thanks.
Quite a few fighters actually do, for this very reason. Otherwise they have to rely on a net barrier.
Damn, what caused all that molten metal? I'd understand some sparks but that was a LOT of completely molten metal coming off there, like a pint worth lol
Is that normal? I've never seen it before.. only some sparks
@@jonslg240 they’re just sparks. Not sure what you’re seeing, but the distance and resolution and the fact they are so bright is maybe making look like more than that to you?
@@MeppyMan thanks. I knew about the Navy not about the Air Force. Since both the Eagle and Falcon are pure USAF.
@@BangaloreAviation cool. I remember when I found out and was like “wtf” but it make sense
I'll bet Naval Aviators laughed their ass off when they saw the amount of time between touchdown and capture of the arresting cable for that F15, lol.
You can always tell the Naval flyers. They've got the flattened faces and shoulders pointing backwards 🤣😉
I recognised that as an IL-86 from the thumbnail. Unique looking plane.
Love your videos. I’m always looking forward to the new ones😂😁👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The F-15 engaging the barrier reminded of an incident that happened when a pilot, in an F-106 (I think) didn't want to use it. He made the ultimate flat spot on the wheels by grinding the wheels and tires down to a point about halfway between the rim of the wheel and the center of the wheel. IIRC he had to cough-up the money for the damage. My dad said they were, the wheels and tires, brand new. Haven't come across those pictures yet... Miss you Dad.
I don't pretend to know much about planes, but I enjoy watching your videos.
I belonged to the Navy Flying Club at NAS New Orleans (Belle Chasse) from 1969 to 1970. The air station had arresting cables near each end of the runway. Banging over them in a Cessna 182 was a bit nerve wracking but it didn't hurt the airplane.
Music to my ears!
Ok, I've already subscribed! I couldn't resist the enchanting sound of the A380 extending its flaps into the takeoff position.
What height do aircraft normally take off from?
Usually from ground height.
Even with an 8k ft runway the USAF using a tailhook is worthy of a vid!
that tail hook is emergency use only and pretty much only when they experience hydraulic issues that degrade or disable the wheel brakes.
Even with a 8k foot runway, you dont take that risk of letting the plane coast down the runway in which you have no guarantee it will fully stop at those speeds.
lookup the BAK-12 System :)
Good stuff. 👍🏻
Great video!😸
0:40 woah my gosh, there’s fire? Well, this plane is probably the unique old jet already…….
fire? old jet? what are you talking about...?
Классная подборка. Взлет с ледяной полосы - это круто!
Да. Жаль, что Аэробус Уральских авиалиний (который сел на поле под Новосибом) не удалось поднять с ледяной взлётки, как они хотели.
Cool is the right word in these conditions...
4 holer making some noise 😊
Good bro!
Good. Thanks.
This Antarctic landscape is just so incredible! It's as if it's a different planet. I dream of visiting there for at least a year &, maybe even relocating. Winter is my absolute fave!!!!!! Extreme weather is in my soul. 🐺😻🌌
Nobody relocates to Antarctica, you're only allowed there if you are a scientist or part of a support team. You can't buy or rent a place to live there. Alaska is where you should go.
Keep it up Guys.
Il 86 can only take of because the earth is round
Il-86 / -96 is a quite cool type actually.
@@u2bear377 Yea but its juts one of the worst planes tu buy for airlines
787 operations in Antarctica?! I thought it was only C-130’s - researchers are really flying in and out of there in style these days 😂
@@semihsari Sorry, but incorrect. Icelandair have landed 767s and HiFly A340s.
Are u sure? I believe they landed on North Pole@@se-kmg355
@@semihsariit’s still cool. I had the same thought. Probably the most modern wide body to do it?
C-130s are still the only large transport aircraft that can land on less prepped, rough ice/snow runways, they can be equipped with skis and are designed for STOL (RATO) operations. pretty much any airliner can take off from specially prepared runways like this near (permanent) research centres, main difference being the temperature and adverse weather conditions once up in the air.
@@CivilStig yeah, plus I imagine they only are landing wide bodies in the summer there. I doubt the engines would appreciate being cold soaked at -80 for a while…
Aerosucre to Kras Air "Do you call that a late take off. Hold my beer"
Muito lindo 👏👏👏
1:30 ?my eldest brother (a retired Chemical Safety Engineer) is taking a trip to Antarctic later this month.
Kras Air aerosucring into their takeoff.
Had you heard of Aerosucre before you watched this channel? Be a little original. Grow up.
So cool 😎 ❤
Fun Fact: When you take off from Antartica, you have to give a blood sample to make sure you're not "The Thing." Dogs too.
00:55 and all the Navy pilots on the side line were slow clapping
Plane takes off too low. I'm a pilot, and every takeoff I have performed has started at ground level.......it doesn't get much lower than that. I also get really close to the ground just before touching down, when landing...am I a bad pilot?
Aerosucre's cousin
What is the runway length in Antarctica....close to infinity? SBRJ (Santos Dumont) was always a fun but challenging airport to fly in/out of in FSX with not much room for error.
3000m
They have to prepare the Antarctica runway (snow removal because that plane is on tires and not skis/sleds), so it's not exceptionally long. But at that location they could probably make it several miles long before they run into any sort of difficult to remove terrain.
You'd think Airbus would have learned from the IL-86 when building the A340--200/300 series that underpowering a widebody is a bad idea. Using the curvature of the Earth rather than engine thrust to gain altitude is not a good strategy.
The 200/300 wasn’t underpowered. All 4 engine airplanes are certified to lose 1 engine and still make it off the runway. The 200/300 had less power than the 500/600, because it was 100 tons lighter.
Why would there be a resort near the end of the runway in the first clip?? Seems strange.
Sadly, no Aerosucrae
"Troll Research Station" 😂
The first was a freighter with MrBeasts money in coins 😂
Plane takes off too low. No, they all take off at ground level. Even Aerosucre.
Troll research Station?.. no way
That explains a lot.
@@analogman9697Still not clear whether it's a research station run by trolls or a station for researching trolls.
There was a Korean Co-pilot on a plane that landed short... his name was Re Tu Row
Title : Plane Takes Off Too Low
Me : It must be Aeorsucre
Video : IL-86 Kras Air
Me : Aah, the Russian's A340s😅
man i would be crapping my pants. i went to an airport and was washing my hands in this area and heard such a loud roar and every thing shaking and it was just a private jet.
How can the rope from the ‘hook’ only catch the pin and not the wheels of the aircraft?
Any takeoff you can walk away from is a good one.
Woah! Only a few hours and now have a lot of viewers!
TOO LOW, TERRAIN! 😱 😂
I just need to look at the video title to know that all the “Aerosucre” comedians will be out in force. Those that had never heard of Aerosucre before watching this channel.
I see you responding to people with the same response. Are u getting paid by Aerosucre?
I was flying on that first plane, and i distinctly remember crashing into the mountains.
Thank you
*Now we know where Aerosucre pilots train...*
I'll be expecting that extra 5 seconds in your next video. 😁
No credit for the extra 12 minutes in the last one?? You are strict!😜
That F-15 pilot just wanted to pretend he was good enough to be a NAVY pilot, which of course there's no chance of that ! 🤣🤣🤣
What, no Aerosucre screw-ups?
did you have good christmas yesterday?
0:31 I lived near to military base and recognize characteristic noises they make.
If someone can explain what are they?
My working theory is : this scares the birds, it sounds like a hawk.
Am I far from the true?
no, that is actually a characteristic sound almost exclusive to the F-15.
there are a couple of bleed valves that open and close based on throttle inputs that make that sound from the F-15
Yes, far from the truth, not bird scaring noises. The sound comes from the actuators that move the nozzles to open and close them. I've only heard it with F-15 and F-16, who have similar engines.
That pilot must have worked for Aerosource previously!
Had you ever heard of Aerosucre before you watched this channel? Grow up.
That 15 put its hook down sooooooo early that must has wrecked the runway
Wait how does only the hook hit the line and not the front wheels first??
the wheels run over the cable, and don't grab onto it. the tailhook does.
Guys, im sure the first takeoff has great personality
I pay for the whole runway, I use the whole runway. Lol, didn't know someone already commented this.
0:18 Nicht so tief Rüdiger!
Nice Video Man, first comment
Who cares
gAy
who cares, and you were second anyways
❤
Another misleading video title. "3 Minutes of Aviation uses misleading or flat out wrong titles far too often....almost crashes"
you are clearly not familiar with the YT algorithm.
So, a “sky bunny” is a Stewardess? I heard of Parking lot lizards..
If it takes off it’s not to low
You need to understand the concept of taking off and stop posting “plane nearly didn’t take off” videos. 35ft is all that the plane needs to clear objects at the end of the runway, 15ft if it’s wet.
theoretically yes, without any regard for safety...
@@CivilStig No, that is because of regard for safety.
Kras air is always one H away from being Krash Air
Russians flying ancient IL86 are as crazy as Aerosucre 😂
This video was sponsored by Aerosucre
Only 2:55 - I feel cheated.
Heavy, low take-off....and it's not Aerosucre? I don't understand!
"troll research station"? really?
yes Norwegians name everything after Trolls.
Just can't believe people are always there to video them
How can an aircraft 'take off too low'?? Or rather it fails to climb after takeoff
When you run out of ground-effect, you have to fly on your own two wings.
eh
You pay for the runway = you use it all
I wonder what the DA is in Antarctica …
Bro the first clip was real bro it is not Aerosucre is not a 727 or a 737
No way am I ever flying on an A380!!
why do you say that? it's just as safe as other airliners, if not safer
Plane Takes off too low? Bizarre comment, its gotta get away from the ground eventually jesus.
Its cool to see but the pilot thinks otherwise
There are Fast landings and then there is what that F-15 did.....
For once it's not Aerosucre......
Nothing wrong with that first, Russian, takeoff. Youre just used to see abrupt pullups for sound abatenent.
The Il-86 is notoriously underpowered and the flights to Tivat would have been close to MTOW. There are several videos on YT of late Il-86 takeoffs from there.
I see, that you're back to using "too" too much
everything for the algorithm! besides; that was not a safe take-off...
