I ask prices because I want to know how much I'm spending and IF I actually wanna spend money on it... Just because it's expensive, doesn't mean it's actually worth that amount.
I did a couple of photo jobs for Moncler back a few years ago and I was shocked, not just by the price, but by how tacky and poor quality the products were. You can get better looking, similar quality products at any "regular" clothing store for a hundredth of the price. For real. Yet when I was there I saw a few people spend more in an hour there than I make in a year. Some people have WAY too much money.
Are they trained to do that? Had the same experience walking into a store to ask about a skirt with no price tag (ended up being $50). I think there must be some haggling involved, where not having a price tag lets them oversell products to customers who don't care.

I got a gift card for Christmas, but it took a long time to find something reasonable. Then I still had to have them order it in my size and there was the option to deliver to my house. So I did. Which defeated the purpose of going in person. Lol

I am an electrician and had to replace some lights in a fancy store in downtown Vancouver BC, I cant remember the name (it was 10 years ago). I was like oh that's a nice wool sweater, it was $3500...they had a cane that was $35,000...Some people have too much money. I also did some work in a gold shop? Boutique? Everything was gold, gold bowls, cutlery etc. Someone came in and was just picking out everything, he must have spent at least $250k in 5 mins like it was nothing.

Like calling the sweater, pants on the mannequin form. But it was the stunned facial expressions at different angles and eating the cookie that amused me most. Plus it all has the spark of fun, the pure play and imagination of young children pretending and entertaining themselves with a story on a long Saturday. I like it. High 5's to you all!
