I bought a brand new Xiaomi Mi 6 way back in 2017 and straight out of the box it had a ton of software glitches and bugs that remained unfixed even after a year's worth of updates. Even the newer xiaomi phones 7 years later have similar issues with their terrible software. I swore never to buy a xiaomi phone after that terrible experience. My Samsung Galaxy S10e on the other hand has been going strong for 5 years now.

I came to that conclusion too. I've tested out most brands, and now I swear never to buy Xiaomi or BBK phones. My choices are Lava, Motorola, Samsung and probably Nothing. I hear HTC is making a return, but they'll probably pull a Nokia with their prices!
Been 7+ years of using Xiaomi devices and never had any issues😅 . (With every new device after 3 months I move to custom rom , maybe that's why I never had issues)

I thought similarly and gave a shot when Xiaomi mi 11 ultra for around 80k (their first flagship) rather than going with iPhone or Samsung. I faced many problems, and they said it was a manufacturing defect with the motherboard. They also mentioned that there were no spare motherboards available, and all the units had this issue.
Moreover, they denied returning my phone and asked me to get another phone, the Mi 12 Pro, which is 30k cheaper. They also asked me to pay 16k extra. I argued with them for four months, but they refused to return my phone and demanded 16k for the Mi 12 Pro. Eventually, I was forced to buy it.
So, I strongly suggest that people avoid getting any premium phones from brands like Mi, Vivo, and similar, they will not give you any assurance or proper support if anything goes wrong.
Fun fact: Mi even said they have a dedicated team for premium users when they launched the Mi 11 Ultra 😂

@@divaysawhney3517 I am not concerned about the performance of vivo. The comparatively new entries in the premium market lack premium support compared to Samsung and Apple in this stage.
We cannot rely on their first premium phones for long-term reliability since they are new in this game. Typically, issues like overheating and motherboard damage occur in the long run. There is no proof that they can handle such powerful phones effectively. So, my opinion is to wait for their more matured versions down the line

Where do you get X100 ultra in India ? Afaik, it's just a China exclusive model & so why bring any comparison with that model which is not available on India through the official route!

She originally told me she wanted a 40k phone so i suggest galaxy a55 or 12R but when she saw the iphone 15, she wanted it so bad. She spent 80k on it. A few weeks later, she asked me to pick a power bank for her phone. I asked her why and she said the battery of iphone 15 sucked😂now she has to use 2 phones. 80k just imagine and she still has to carry her old android phone😂

And iphones have bloatware (compass, stocks, itunes store etc) just because they are from apple doesn't mean they aren't bloatware
Iphone flagships are great, and are a reasonable product in said category. For non flagship its juet the status symbol.
I really love Samsung but lately Samsung's camera getting worse when compared to Vivo, Xiaomi and Apple
The low light photos from Samsung flagships are really bad can be compared to 40k phone. I am using S22 ultra low light photos are bad and HDR is also bad and in artificial light details are completely absent i bought Samsung for its camera and getting beaten by iphone 13 in terms of details.
And why the hell there are no colours while taking video seriously i need to increase saturation in every video. Why Samsung why.
Vivo is doing great job in camera my next flagship will be by Vivo without a doubt
I agree these reviewers just hype their cameras, otherwise in low light my older iqoo 7 legend took much better pics than my s22 ultra

This is an excellent review. It is exactly the reason why I switched back from a vivo to a samsung. The software from any of these vivo's oppo's n xiaomi's are no comparison for samsung n apple. Great job techwiser team.
Honestly, the camera samples from the S24 Ultra look much better than the extremely artificial looking Vivo phone. As a matter of fact, I would take the iPhone camera samples any day over the artificial vivo camera samples.

Best part of samsung imo is their consistent effort towards improving dex. Samsung is the closest i can think of to being able to replace traditional pc workstations

Been saying for years that the experience matters and Vivo needs to get that Origin OS to India if they want to compete in that space.
But seems that they are happy with same ol Funtouch OS also due to the sales they feel, "Nope Indians are happy with this".
Software experience and feel is most of it now. Plus obv the physical differentiation to stand out a bit.
Just got the Poco F6 (Using along with iPhone 15 PM) and seriously Hyper OS is quite improved and well polished ...but...the looks on the back is absolute garbage. I am actually searching for a good case to hide those horrendous balls of cameras 😢.
Modes and Routines on samsung is the best thing. It is something that you never thought you would need, but once you start using it, you can't go back.

I love this kind of video. As much as I love xiaomi phones ( I used them as well as poco phone for 3 to 4 years) the software and day to day experience of these Chinese phone brands just can't compete with the bigger brands especially in the Eu. I have the s24 ultra and it's a very smooth experience;)
If i had to spent one lakh above price on phone .... I will definitely go for Samsung ultra phones anyday..... I will skip iphone , i want to experience the same ios in under 1 lakh rather than pro versions
Apple and samsung have great, smooth, refined, elegant, awesome software experience...brands like oneplus, vivo, oppo, realme, MI can never reach there...

I have used iqoo 9SE for 2 years. It was riddled with bugs initially. Some got fixed eventually but it was still laggy and got hot a lot.
Gestures did not work properly when I used a non-stock launcher.
*The first reason is Vivo X100 Ultra or the Find X7 Ultra are not available in every market but the Pro iPhones and S Ultras are.
*Inconsistency is the somewhat related to the first point. The Xiaomi flagships are releasing every 3 years.
*They can adopt the Qualcomm Gen 3 Max ultrasonic fingerprint scanner since they use Qualcomm flagship chips in their phones.
It honestly feels like they took two pieces of tech, a camera and phone, and stuck it together with tape.
I have Vivo X80 Pro.
I have owned it from August 2022.
Main & 2x sensor are absolutely brilliant even against today's phones. Overall hardware is great.
But,
Fun touch OS is absolute shit.
I would still buy it as my second phone. But boy, I can't deal with funtouch on daily basis.

i bought redmi k20 pro over oneplus7 in 2019, k20 pro is really good hardware wise but that purchase made me realise the important of software, both phone had the same hardware but damn that oxygen os was fast and smooth, this is the main reason i feel why people tend to buy Samsung and apple over these brands as Samsung and apple provide you a software experience that you can rely on, i still have that k20 pro rocking a custom rom but the miui that comes with it is a total mess, it slows it down and also is full of glitches and bugs where as my friend too has that op7 , which is still butter smooth.

I'd buy iPhone even tho I am bored of iOS, because if I am paying a lakh rupees i need something different because a 35k FE Samsung and 1 lakh S series has 99% same features the same in app experience for 10k Android and 100k android. But the reality is i won't buy a phone which costs a lakh instead I'd buy a Phone for 20k a tablet for 40k and Laptop for 40k

If im paying 1L for a smartphone then hands down i would choose samsung or apple as obv i dont need to mention the phone experience and after sales service. Who would in their right mind pay 1L for chinese brands like it just dosent make any sense. If your budget is around 30k then chinese brands are okay but for 1L just nahh.
Some more reasons are the ecosystem, which both companies have, longer and timely update cycle.

I could easily get the Vivo x100 ultra, i can live with the software because I have used iqoo. The only problem is only 3 Android updates. It has to be atleast 5 years of updates if people are paying above 70k

Bru i am personally a vivo v29 pro user.
I would not recommend to buy a vivo device to anyone.
1. So bad reliability.
2. Never expect your problems to be solved by update .
3. For 6months it was flawless for everything but after v30 series now its so bad that it's overheat upto 47° just with scrolling UA-cam. Never solved after 4 updates.
4. 40k phone only good for 6 month cuz vivo make so much phones and forget about older customers.
Totally 0 reliability.
That's why no one buys these chines flagship cuz they are too far behind for reliability.
Edit: Camera was good i would say flawless. But now even that has changed,
cant take a single photo in dark or night time,
so much lance flare now like literally its toooooo baaaddddd,
after processing has been removed with update so now portraits are like an 15k phone.
Day time photos are good

Ps: i didn't had any of these issues untill v30 series launched.
I even talked with v29 community and everyone has same problem.
One cannot simply compare to Apple because we all know they are obsessed with giving you a great experience. While these chinese OEMs depend on your data for making money, Apple relies on the user to buy their expensive device but they guarantee the longevity. No one would even remember this phone that you’re promoting.

I am of the few people, who bought OnePlus Open, Xiaomi 14 ultra, and currently using Google Pixel 8 pro.
I had used vivo x80 pro back then it was a great phone software wss ok but resale value was terrible
Then switch to iphone 14 pro kax bought it 2nd hand for around 89k
Used for 2 months only because i just don't feel like ios is for me but i still got 85k for it and it was a great price
Then switched to s24 ultra

I got Vivo X80 Pro cause Mrwhosetheboss made a big deal about the phone.
The hardware was amazing, the feel build and charger and case were all great, but the software inspite of being smooth was just weird for me.
I sold it for an iPhone 13, hated how Apple was locked down when compared to android and sold that too.
Mainly that big camera is weird for every one to use Xaomi or Vivo 😂

I will say this there are some rough edges in Vivo phones.
My friends own iphones but they prefer photos from my vivo x60 lol, but yes there is funtouch Os which has some ads and dark patterns. So if u are a techy u can handle vivo pretty well.

1 major deal breaker, software. Funtouch OS maybe fun until 40-50k, but not after that. And when you’re comparing top of the line phones of any company that does matter(Similar issue with Xiaomi, top of the line hardware but unreliable software)
