Idk why this prologue hit different? Seeing our Drifter and Operator together in a cutscene with the Lotus was really cool and I wish this was repayable strictly for the other dialogue choices. Thanks for the upload!
It's hyping this up with such an ominous name, thematically chilling login music, and giving it the login screen place of honor that take this so called quest from disappointing to heavily frustrating. They shouldn't have even bothered, and made this the opening chapter of the 1999 quest line.

I didn't really get the point of this quest. Was there some exposition or something I missed when I was chasing the cat around? I like the multi-dialogue options with the lotus and hope that gets fleshed out a bit more in the future.
This was the first time that the Lotus decided for us that the Drifter would be the one taking the lead. I think that hints to a bigger involvement in 1999.
It was DE saying: "We have a romance system in 1999, but one of our two playable characters is a child and we don't want to do the "really 9000 years old" thing. Drifter, you're up." I don't know why it had to be its own quest either, but yeah.

The choices dont give different outcome sadly
I like the eye movements, that isn't visible on most other lotus skins

They made it very clear that it was a short prologue quest, idk what people were expecting

I think it was to tell us that the drifter is important to enter 1999 as their existence is a paradox

My dialogue is bugged theres no sound or lips moving or subtitles
