We completely understand. Everything you said was exactly how we've been feeling. It was tolerable but COVID really drove it home for us. Travel isn't an adventure anymore. It's become normal, even a chore at times. The funny part is, you own more stuff than we do. We don't even have a storage unit.

I get it Jake. Hubs and I traveled full time in an old RV for two years. Had an epic adventure. Corona Virus hit, I got a major back injury and then I had no home base and felt really vulnerable. We settled down in Bend, got a house next to BLM and are getting an overlanding trailer in the future. So, it is super nice having a home base. Travel and overlanding is definitely in our future, but for now, until things calm down, we feel a bit more secure in our cabin in the high desert. Wish you all the best.

I think its smart to buy something permanent to have a Home Base. I understand your need to travel and explore while you are young. I’ve always said life is just backwards. You should travel and experience different things while you are young then spend the rest of your life paying for it. Only trouble is, to many people would never pay up.... we enjoy traveling in our jeep but after a couple or 3 weeks on the road we are ready to head home. Keep us up to date on whats happening,...

Congratulations! I lived OTR in my pickup for 2 years it was great! But I'm now at a point where I want a safe space. Cuz I got sick on the road and renting a studio motel 6 for a whole week in bum ef California really sucked. So I rent a room at friends now. While I work over the road.

Sadly this has been coming for a while he kept disappearing from UA-cam and he got rid of jade. As much as I'm sure many if his followers wished he'd have given more updates while AFK he's been sharing his life with us all so what he shares is his choice. Obviously its also his choice to make changes. I think alot of people loved watching the solo travel videos because deep down we all have romanticized views of what life on the road is like. No jobs, no bills, just open roads and freedom. While I'm sure those on the road just dream of finding a solid structure and some land to call home. I'm pumped for Jake I think all roads were leading him right to where he needed to be. Glad he found it 🤘

Your videos used to be so good and now it seems as if you just pop in and out as if you don't care anymore. If you want people to watch and continue to support you at the least give them more than 5 minutes of your time. Just my thoughts.
