Correction: Rock Lee couldn't defeat Gaara. He lost the fight in the end and half his limbs were crushed. It was still an epic moment though.

There are probably countless moments like this...but my top 1 will always be Rock Lee's moment. The anime was getting better, arc was getting better...and then that happened...whoever wasn't a Naruto fan by that time...they became Naruto fan after that fight scene. And Rock Lee most likely became their favourite character.
That moment probably inspired many animes with main character being "normal" and beating others with powers just with his hard work alone.
To be fair, Record of Ragnarok could literally be termed "I'm Still Standing- The Anime". Both warriors take huge damage and in the end one is still standing. I think the only remotely uneven fight was Buddah-Zerofuku/Relfias and even that had Buddah get bloody.
Almost cried when Adam dies while standing. Man was dead and still fighting for humanity

Zoro’s scene was fire and all but in my opinion the best “still standing” moment would go to Whitebeard going out like an absolute legend, literally dying standing up
You have a point but don’t forget whitebeard is a legendary pirate. Zoro ate all that pain back when he was bumming
I'm certain this is going to make me look like a fanboy, but I'm all right with that. I think that All Might is one of the most badass good guys out there. In my opinion, he's at least in the top five. In the fight with garo, keep in mind he has a few arrows that are meant to sedate him. He has multiple broken bones, stab wounds, and countless injuries. Along with not having any weapons of his own and fighting eight heroes by sheer will and determination. Not to mention the fact that he's also putting himself in the line of fire to protect a kid. And as far as an enemy goes for any type of show, he's pretty top-notch.
Why worry about being a fanboy? I'm a fanboy EVERYONE'S A FANBOY OR FANGIRL we shouldn't be afraid to talk about taste

Rock lee didn’t beat Gaara in that fight. Rock lee got smashed to where they thought he would never fight again and Gaara walked away pretty much fine. Gaara clearly won the fight
These were all great I’m still standing moments but it’s clear he hasn’t seen most of these like what is with him saying that rock lee won or Gojo just got right back up
Well, Rock Lee straight up won, regardless of how you look at things, and Gojo literally got the fuck back up, so...
'Content farm' content. It's clear from some of the other videos and this one, and the AI generated thumbnails, and the pronunciation of some of the names, this person tends not to know what's going on and it's just thinking on the popularity of anime content on UA-cam to get views and clicks.
I wasn't sure until this video, but I'm pretty certain now and I'm just going to avoid it from now on.

... feel like Dabi’s fight v Shouto, copying the move it took Shouto months to learn as it was being used on him, personalise it and use it to keep fighting even in his state is worth at least a mention. Determination to fight to achieve his goals when it's destroying him and still standing when Shouto assumes he's won...
Also, Stain still standing after passing out and still terrifying everyone there to the point they can't move, even endeavor...

Gaara won the fight but 'quit' before the end of the battle due to Rock Lee's mentor Might Guy standing in between them. The sight of someone covering Rock Lee made Gaara question Might Guy why he would do something so unfamiliar to him. Gaara's childhood was filled with anguish and anger with his father only wanting to kill him, so it's safe to say that the sight of love made Gaara forfeit the match. But the fight was already concluded the moment Might Guy stepped in to interrupt them. Gaara had won the match, he even stood up and walked away. Rock Lee barely stood up out of sheer willpower while unconscious but it was clear he couldn't do anything after Gaara's sand shattered his arm and leg. So yes, he did project the "I'm still standing" will, but he did not win the battle. Please do more research next time!

Dude got wrecked by one of the most powerful individuals in the One Piece world. At the time you thought he was one of the pinnacles. He was willing to give up everything and his life to keep his captain and the other crew safe. A moment anime that will outlive its creator or anyone currently in existence. Impossible not to have on a list like this one.
If we're talking One Piece, we gotta respect the legend that was Whitebeard. Man literally came to Marineford to save his prodigal son, Ace, by any means necessary. He took an entire onslaught from the Navy, other pirates and even tanking multiple chest piercing punches from Navy Admiral Akainu.
In his last moments, he proclaimed "THE ONE PIECE... DOES EXIST!!!" moments before dying where he stood, proudly displaying a completely clean back that showed he never displayed any cowardice throughout his life.
The scene for "Guts vs 100" in the original Berserk anime was way more hardcore/impressive than the new clean one.
13:45 That's not what happened. He lost. He wouldn't give up to the point where he stood up unconscious and was a massive badass. But Gaara won.

I was excited to watch this but then I realized it was a ViniiTube video
the hunter x hunter one hit hard because the old guy won even in death but it lead to one of the most heartbreaking episodes as he didn't realize he had condemmed two people to death besides himself. the ant king and the blind girl who was through go won his heart. both died from the radiation the king recieved when the old guy detonated. he then went looking for the girl, the whole scene final scene fades to darkness until you hear just their voices, with one of the final images being her face with blood pouring out because of the radiation and the king lying on her lap. both dying together with the haunting words. are you stil there.

I'm still standing... cool then Attack on Titan reared it's UGLY head the cool characters started dropping like flies. So that anime? Easily king of WHAT happened to my favorite characters?!? As they weren't just short fodder thrown into a grinder but ACTUAL decent character you wanted to root for as THAT show cut them down right in front of you. Call that one he so cool he SHOULD be still standing with a shocked Pikachu face as you watch a character you REALLY LIKED get just mowed down like he was NEVER anything to begin with. Start a new clip on the reverse view. He SHOULD be standing but isn't. But I'm just having fun here as suggestions ARE FREE but know the work to make them happen? ISN'T. But least? I'm lobbing and interesting idea at you. Whether or not it is worth it? Well, that's actually up to you my friend and the difficulty got multiplied as finding 'cool' characters you think shouldn't of die? Very hard feat. So interesting challenge? Say what?!? Pt.2 for one piece you’ve gotta do Whitebeard THE ONE PIECE
There's only one anime I truly want to see, and that's the continuation of the Berserk anime in normal animation style, is that really to much to ask? Not this ugly half 2d half 3d animation, I fucking hate it. Pls bring back the animation of the Golden Age Ark, there's just something about that 90's animation style, that fits the raw unrelenting despair and power of Berserk. Hunter x hunter would also be awesome to see how truly immensely powerful Ging is, and see Gon naturally reach the level he had when fighting Nefa and see another Jajanken being thrown. And yea, if you are ever in doubt what true loyalty looks like, just look at Zoro, he will follow Luffy to the end of hell and back.
I am disappointed every time they use Berserk on a list and use the CGI atrocity instead of the beautifully drawn original...
Just a fun fact Igris let sung Jin woo win. In the after story we get a little dialog from igris and it is mentioned that he acknowledged Jin woos efforts and tenacity so he let him win. It’s kinda a given cause he was fighting Igris pre nerf so it was an under s rank Jin woo vs a marshal grade summon with an ridiculous amount of combat experience

Epi 05...in this epic episode, uchiha madara single handedly fuck off all the quincy and the entire attack on titan universe...then ,come out of nowhere, a door just appear in the fucking air and just suddenly open , hit him exactly in his eye so hard to even cancel his mangekyo sharingan...surprisingly, that is nobita using the magic door running from giant...unfortunately for madara ,his no 1 enemy, hashirama just walking nearby and curiously asking what happened...no..not.. nothing happened said madara...

Zeus was extremely lucky in that fight Adam had him guessing whole time. Adam was literally winning whole fight. If his eye lasted a bit longer Zeus would've lost. In fact I think this win should go to humans cause technically Zeus lost.
