To my knowledge, he has never worn knee pads, just legal thigh wraps that go under the pant.
@@chrisxdudo Oh wow I have never known that even as a quick fan growing up. Never heard of thigh wraps either!
He’s been in thigh wraps since the beginning of his starting career, so since 2007 he has been wearing them. Thigh wraps were stock on goalie pads at the retail level for well over a decade until 99% of goalies switched to stand alone knee pads.
