Fun fact: the actor for Ji Hyuk is completely different in real life, so goofy and funny, and he's the youngest of the main cast, all 3 main cast are above 35 and he's in his late 20s He's very cute!!!
I realized the secretary guy(forgot his name) was actually the alternate version of jihyuk but the difference is he saw how she( yang Juran) was treated by her husband (he saw the cheating( jihyuk didn't know about Kang jiwon and her bastard ex cheating thing until he came in the funeral),he( secretary ) also is present in her party, he was actively around her( which jihyuk is not actively around jiwon or comforting her like he is now), he also protected her by being her lawyer(which jihyuk regretted he wasn't able to protect her the day he came at jiwon's funeral). In summary, Things Jihyuk wasn't able to do during those times before they went back in time, is the things the secretary is doing for yang Juran (manager). Which is just Icing on cake! Lots of people probably missed this part. Because even me I just realized it now. The secretary even told yang Juran that she should ask for help, that she so Should speak up and not think low of her self and that she should use a golf club into her husband face and beat him up for cheating. The things he did say to her was the things Jihyuk COULD HAVE SAID AND DONE for Kang Ji won if he only knows. (her situation right now is crazy similar to jiwon basically all jiwon's past self was transferred to her) Thank you for listening to my Ted (confusing) Talk 🙌✨
I know you guys love Soomin's actress, but my favorite moment in the whole show is Jiwon's screams as she's like seeing the time knife while watching Ms. Yang fall in her place. It's like she's having a full-blown panic attack, and all that righteous anger appears in the best way.
I completely forgot that Jiwon had her door broken in the future, so from the moment that Yang said about breaking the lock of the door and Jiwon instantly remembering about her door I got chills all over my body 😯
The soomin logic thing at the beginning, I think it all comes from the dad, Jiwon had a loving dad and that’s something that Soomin can never take away from Jiwon so it’s an emptiness that she can’t fill and therefore needs to take everything else to fill that void. It’s not that she can’t find happiness in a bad situation but she doesn’t even see her life she only sees Jiwon so whatever that makes Jiwon happy Soomin wants because she thinks that’s what will fill that void. She never liked Minhwan only because Jiwon liked him. The only one that she loves is Jiwon in a sick way she can’t live without Jiwons love because that has been the only true person that has liked her. So as much as she hurts Jiwon to punish her, she also wants to be the one controlling her happiness that she’s the only one who can make her smile and feel better not Minhwan not her boss only Soomin.
That makes SO much sense character wise. Its the best explanation ive read so far. Most people dont really comment on the “need” and that weird codependent behavior Soomin displays throughout the show towards jiwoon, how she does seem to want both to harm her and want jiwoons care and love for herself. Its so weird
I did my research! I went to 4 of my favorite kdrama reactors, Chanels. I'm not kidding you guys it took me 2 days to complete this. The number of requests for this shows is insane! I don’t know if you guys know but a lot of these K Drama are coming from comics with the whole storyline. And with this one in particular it’s interesting bc the main story the ex fiancé is never shown and Sumin is the big bad and goes even crazier.
I got here quick ! One thing that irks me about K dramas is that, sometimes early on, they will show the female lead as having some martial arts skill. But, when she really need it.. she becomes damsel in distress all of a sudden.
