I used to work as an electrical engineer for Sikorsky on an experimental autonomous Blackhawk. One of the coolest things I had the pleasure of working on. Going to flight tests and brief/debrief with the pilots was awesome
Same here but not with the military service , but I do work for the veterans cemetery but I love what I do , look over those and care for them the way they cared about others , that gave the ultimate sacrifice for others freedom , I love my job but seeing how many times we have services everyday really gets to me , but then again having over 60% suicide rate with my job , I can honestly see why those numbers are that high for just some caretakers for vets
Area51... holy crap. Incredible work and very informative,. Also: The break away edit after asking if they use respirators for the carbon fiber work. Brilliant!
Bro… 5 months!?!? With that level of craftsmanship and quality is insane. That is absolutely mind boggling. It’s amazing what can happen when the right people get to work and put it to the grindstone. I commend your team and work ethic.
Awesome cars at Area51, especially that AWD Sentra, something different! Always love when old Sentras get love; I had a 91 SE-R with a T28 turbo on it and that thing was a little beast, surprised a lot of people on the highway.
Man.. This build has the Drag world on its head.. A full build from first weld to cracking the tires for the first time, is Motor world magic… This is without question going to sell any remaining spectator tickets to World Cup, just to see it in person “Massive props to all the skilled hands, that have built what I have no question, is going to be a legendary car” 🇮🇪🦅🇺🇸🏆☘️
People would say where is your race car it's in fabrication jail LOL the crew at CJRC has truly pulled off a miracle 5 months to build a car like Eagle is amazing🎉🎉🎉
Its cool how you work with other race car shops and ya'll work on projects together. RK and area 51 both make sweet cars of their own, yet you can do work for each other. Thats awesome. A lot of other industries, you wouldnt see that.
I'm old.. 61 to be exact. But back in the 80s thru 2000, I was a great electronic tech. I so wish I would have stayed in the industry. We went from fixing circuit boards to remove and replace. But the tech involved now is so intriguing I've been researching the craft. Great video.
Power over USB for programming is huge! Especially if youve lost an ECU to a voltage dip when writing a map in a carpark late at night in the past! lol
Can you do an indepth series on the willys as well? With all the space concerns with a build like that, I'd really dig watching how your team handles it.
Absolutely love the content, drive and passion of all involved on this eagle'r (throwback to the Raptor R vid) build... The cross channel content proves this whole group is tight.... nice work guys!!!
wow this is the fastest race car build I've ever seen, takes me 2 years to build 1, Cleetus is really going to put the cat amongst the pigeons when its done he will set a new standard when he starts racing not many have a 5500hp proline hemi
Nice to see everyone on board for the short time frame, and doing quality work as well. The wiring section was a real eye opener. Many thanks for this video. Looking forward to more.
Geez the tech in these cars is as advanced as a fricken Spaceship, I am very impressed that these guys can even do this much without even having the car ! Great job , these guys are scientists for sure.
area 51 race cars is a prime example of do this correctly every step of the way and triple check those steps and the end result can be nothing but perfection. works every time
I see you were over at the McFarland shop working on the Dale truck LOL! What do you thing about that thing it's going to be a beast being 4x4 with HED engine in it
wow, Area 51 knows how to do wiring! They do it right from the start, which is very impressive and something you don't see much of anymore in the fast-paced, just-get-it-done world we live in now.
Wow the company doing the wiring man they are highly knowledgeable it’s crazy how they pay soo much attention to detail I don’t know how others do it but no doubt these guys are top notch
The custom show car at 5:20 is a Chevy 2 nova. The car was built here in Van Buren Arkansas at D&D Specialty Cars. My uncle owns the shop and my dad does/did all the custom interior for all the hot rods and has been talking to the owner of this car to let him do the interior for it as well. (If so, I will post some videos of the process) I have videos of the car still at our shop from 4 years ago after the motor and turbos were installed. This is fucking nuts to see that I was looking at it face to face and now I get to see this car in y’all’s video. About to show my dad this video and he’s gonna flip. This is rad🤙🏼 Edit: I will post the video I have of the car to my UA-cam shorts
If I wasn’t so bet up I’d come ask you guys for a Job, retired and disabled master mechanic / shop owner. I sure miss this stuff! You make my days! Keep up the good work!
Hope everyone’s safe, well and dry over there, been a bit rough to say the least, and it seems like another big storm is heading your way. Great video, everyone’s killing it!
Omar and his crew are the mad scientist of wiring. Area 51 is no joke testing every component before it goes in. Topnotch. loved your cameo in cleetus video CJ
Getting to where I'm just as excited for a CJ race cars video just as much as a Cleetus video!💯 I don't even watch regular TV anymore except for some King of the Hill beat cartoon ever!💯🤣 This where it's at real people doing real shit that I'm interested in!💯 Not some horse shit scripted Garbage!💯💯💯
Wait, I might be mis-remembering, but I thought last or couple videos ago, CJ said Eagle was planning on running classes that require the hood to come off separate of the front end, but @ 31:57 says they're bonding the hood.
CJ, this series building cletus's Camaro is absolutely fascinating!! I had no idea what was involved building eagle. You guys are super super talented all of you super talented, all of you. If I ever get enough money together I know where I'm going to get my car built. And showing us the process of wiring and paint and all that together is fascinating to me . Keep it up brother you doing a great job !! God bless
I love the content on this channel. Everyone who worked on this car is extremely talented even though some of them aren't youtubers, for example the wiring guy must have a hard time talking in front of a camera and yet he took the time to give us some of his knowledge to explain every detail. He seems like a nerd HAHAHA. Cant wait for the color reveal.
Respirators are recommended for any sanding, grinding, paint, primer, body filler, fumes of any sort, and any dust-inducing operations, even welding! If you can smell it, use one!
CJ, IMHO..... shouldn't have went to Area 51..... becuasae now we are going to need weekly videos of all of that!! WOW! they are legit, so easy and nonchalant about all their great work! 😆 yeah thats the fastest, so it that and that will be oh and so will that! definately need to have them on the channel more often!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
man those guys are doing wiring right...providing all the connector pinouts/colors/functions are absolutely wiring diagrams though lol and amazing to have
This day and time finding anyone that will take responsibility for planning and exercuon of that complex time consuming process project at any price is nonexistent I worked for GM for 32 years budget would have been in the millions great work CJ
All the guys in the shop absolutely killed it to get Eagle to paint in such a short time! Can't wait to see this thing with some color.
The level of craftsmanship is astounding!!
I agree such a caliber of car being completed this quick is amazing
It's almost like carbon fiber will give you the super cancer. It's much nastier stuff than fiberglass, which is already nasty. Basically asbestos.
Agreed. A lot of hours by great craftsman went into this. Great attention to detail. Guys got a lot of skill in the building. Great build
You guys should be proud , never seen such detail , finesse, all in the same car …
Loved your cameo in ole cleeters last vid 😂
I know I saw him in his shop and I was like HEY thats CJ
Yea I was like he’s there to do some work on Leroy’s new body I bet so they can fit it to the frame
That had to hurt watching the start up of the dale truck. He'll have eagle back for repairs shortly after delivery.
The intern did an amazing job welding dimes. He needs a raise.
Hell yeah... I commented on Cleets video about Cameron being there!! Pretty cool!!!
The Area51 Team is very talented 👍🏻
Very impressive
Proper know what they are doing. 👌
El más chingón
Seems he would have used Modern up in the Carolinas like most cars of this caliber. First class build deserve top of the line wiring.
@@d.w.103true, that’s why they are using Area51 👍🏻
Omar is an absolute genius, listening to him explain everything that is going onto Eagle was awesome. The technology going into Eagle is amazing.
I recently got out the army as a 15F aircraft electrician. Area 51 would be heaven for me and I wired blackhawks and chinooks I love that stuff
It looks like a aeronautics workshop. Race cars have come a long way.
I used to work as an electrical engineer for Sikorsky on an experimental autonomous Blackhawk. One of the coolest things I had the pleasure of working on. Going to flight tests and brief/debrief with the pilots was awesome
Maybe time to start your own business ? Investors like ex-military people.
You should start an affordable wire harness business. Most of the companies in the business want new engine prices for simple engine harnesses.

10:03 The Area 51 shop is impressive! Very cool of CJRC to feature them in the video. 👍🏼
Every single person that's worked on this car is a freaking artist. So much care and detail put into every single thing. Beautiful work so far
Cleet is really diving into the deep end, I hope him and his team have the talent to run it.
Area 51 is on point.
Area51... holy crap. Incredible work and very informative,. Also: The break away edit after asking if they use respirators for the carbon fiber work. Brilliant!
So cool to see a shop like Area 51 have a variety of cars both import and domestic

CJRC and Area51, y'all rock! Love the channel and content. Peace 💨🤘🇺🇸
Let’s go!
Great series, I love all the attention to detail. You don’t cut corners and your product speaks for itself.

Thank Cameron for every update of the Eagle. Didn't know the new version of " Dan the Man" shirt available. It looks nice !. 😊
