This is why NBA teams favor drafting younger guys they generally have more potential. Players like Gradey Dick, Jalen Green and Jalen Suggs started off slow but gradually improved over time.
"Saved his career", dumbest thing I ever heard. He just started his career, it didn't need saving.. weird kids with your overly dramatic outlooks on EVERYTHING. He is a kid, every other kid needs time, so why wouldn't he? Their prime is 27 ish, not 20... No i didn't watch this garbage
Ah yes, two weeks of off-court training is all it took to completely change his physical makeup and confidence. Just good 'ol jogging and chicken and broccoli. Nothing else to it, I'm sure.
Atrocious start? When he was selected rookie of the day at summer league or when he scored 16 vs the 76ers in October with 4-6 threes or when he scored points got assists and got rebound in the few minutes he got the first part of the season due to big trades coming up so he wasn’t given much time to show what he could do? People talk about his G-League days like he camped out in there for months and month like Jett Howard and the truth is he was only there a couple weeks at most. Once the trades were done, his chance came and he got to show what he can do. No one who knows basketball and the league thought he was a bust, “well timed” injuries is RUDE he would never wish that on a teammate, Especially on the raps who know how to pass and would be making him look even BETTER (Gradey is a team player so works better with better teammates). He has worked hard and lifted weights sure, but he is still the same player and no one was panicked about a 19-year-old needing a tiny bit of time to adjust. Is this video just pure click Bait to inspire people to watch and respond how ridiculous this DUMB title and narrative is??? I wish I could un-watch this as I’m ashamed I gave you a view. I won’t make that mistake again; I enjoy NBA content creators who actually know the game.
While gradey does help space the floor for quickley I think the spacing actually benefits rj barret more. Quickley is one of the best OTB 3 point shooters, with gradey in the corner rj has tons of room to slash and muscle his way to the basket
Flaccid start 😂
He knew what he was doing
Hard finish
Like your usual Saturday night.
Yeah flaccid start was crazy 😂
Yes He’s a grower not a show-er
Coach Darko realized that Gradey is a grower not a shower and put him to work on increasing his size.
Hop of dik😅
He's errecting a solid role with the team.
TLDR He needed girth
Sending him to the gleague was a “strategic move” lmaooo thats what the gleague is for and how every team uses it my man
First pause happened in the first ten seconds at “Ridden” him off. Blud thinks he’s slick

never said he was a bust. he was a 19 year old coming in. no one expected him to make an impact in his first season.

he just needs the reps
Any one got a count for how many times he said dick?
Freaky ahh analysis video 🤣🤣
Wait…so if accept coaching and apply it to your game, you’ll get better. C’mon!
First thing the coach said “Don’t ever wear that red suit again.”
He has stiff defense. No Diddy.
Illegitimate son of Rick Moranis?
😂 mate he didn't take 2 weeks off go bulk up

I wonder why he waited till April 1st for this vid
one thing you didn’t mention is how his shot was being tweaked in the beginning of the season by the Raptors shooting coaches
Because it wasn’t. They didn’t touch his almost-perfect shot.
