I had no idea you were into rc planes. I started flying drones about 4 years ago after watching one of your bebop2 videos. I've probably seen every one of your videos over the past few years. Your knowledge has been passed down even to people you may never meet. Thanks for sharing your videos over the years! There's no telling how many people you have reached out to. I am one for sure!! Stay blessed, and thanks for showing us that we can get into the hobby!!.. Shane....
Wow, Thank you Shane for your comment and very kind words. It is good to hear your thoughts. That is something I am hoping is true. Thank you for being so faithful to my channel over the years and may God bless you also.
I love this planes because it flys so well. I’ve had the same issues with the motor, replaced of them and each would last only 10 flights. Replaced the gear box and still no fix so I gave up on it. This might be my fix
Nice video. I have both this plane and theBebop 2. I love them both but you're right about this little guy struggling in the wind. The slightest beeze makes it near impossible to control.
Yep, the first time I flew it it nearly got away from me. There is a warning in the manual about flying when breeze is 5 mph or less, but I ignored that and it almost got "blown" away :) Thank you for your comment and God bless.
@@lw216316 Well, the old hot glue is still sticking. Although, before installing the motor I soaked it in gasoline and let it dry. Gasoline has enough additives that after drying out works like a very fine lubricant. I have used it on old grandfather clocks and other things. Thanks for your input and God bless.
mrkentdotcom and fisycomics - what motor did you do the upgrade with? the original Cub motor or another - such as the one you had in your video Mr. Fisy (was it the radian motor ? I forget - been a while since I watched your video. anyway ....I need to replace my motor and want to get the best one for it - thanks
Hi Mr Fisy - I enjoy your videos very much. The Radian motor has served me well. It has gone nose first, full power into the ground (at the park) about three times so far and flies great. As for the cub, I simply replaced with the same motor and it is working fine. I'm hoping I don't need to replace the Radian motor. Thanks for your great videos and your comment and God bless.
#mrkentdotcom ((Liked)) You are the Best. no question about that. I enjoyed watching and hearing the story. And appreciate the shout out. again no words. My question to you. When the new motor first installed, did you rotate the motor to tighten the spur gear (if called) to the Pinion gear (if called), and try to test out if correctly with paper per other members out there say to do? so you will not strip gears? I wonder if you had the 1S bat charged, or are worn? I did not know about gas being a cleaner. I still have my cub I should go fly but its winter and cold. thank you for all FISH
Yep, I was very careful. I checked everything I could check. The thing that gave me the idea to clean the inside of the motor was all of the black powder that could have only come from within the motor. By the way I took it out this morning and it flew great. And the motor was much quieter than before and even the original motor. If I ever need another motor I will soak it before installing it :) Thanks for your come back and God bless.

Thank you for your comment and kind words Connor and God bless.
the motor replacment video is private ????????????????????????????????
Hmmmmm, I will have to check on that. Thank you for your comment and God bless.
hot glue - when the motor gets hot - will it melt the hot glue and cause then the motor
will come loose ?
So far the motor has not gotten hot enough. Thanks for your question though and God bless.
@@user-sr8pn9xg8z The reason I asked - I once used canopy glue to hold the motor in place and it melted and the motor came loose.

Nice vid, but more of a review than a how-to on motor replacement. Like another has said, the one vid link doesn't work.
Thank you for your comment and God bless.
