- Welcome to the build series of my Iveco Daily camper conversion! In this video we prepare the van for the build by stripping out all the plyboard, rear seats, and cage.

Hi Matt, Just wanted to thank you for your recent contribution on Callum' You Tube Crew. As someone returning to the hobby after a 30yr break like Ian, I find these crew videos both entertaining and informative. Like you I've got hold of a van which I'm going to turn into a "Ham Van" that is a day/overnight van so I can do some field work with a little comfort for my geriatric bones! I will go and like, message and subscribe to the other guys to help them on their You Tube stats.

nice one fella they might fine moor rust when it goes for welding it is an iveco they suffer with under body rust good luck with the build
robert lee Had the welding done now. That was the worst of it. Rest of the van isn’t too bad. Surface rust in places, but working my way through it as I go. Thank you:)

Hey Matt I was wondering if this iveca is suitable for normal car license since it weighs quite a lot
Thanks for your comment! I didn’t see it, oops. Yes it can be driven on a car license. A car licence allows your to drive a vehicle of up to 3.5 tonnes in the UK. This van weighs something like 2.4 tonnes empty, so I have about 1100kg’s to play with before it’s overweight. The van would be illegal if over 3500kg total. You would then need a vehicle rated at 7.5 tonnes I think, which requires a HGV license. Hope that helps!
Niiiice! I’m actually looking for an Iveco Daily to do the same too, can’t find anything decent out there! How much did she cost? If you don’t mind me asking!
