I first saw this 40 plus years ago when a friend folded one. We put a staple where the ends are inserted. Launch was similar. U can launch it from the ground…and it’s still fun. I did a mechanical drawing of the folding procedure. Way cool. I’m sure many viewers will enjoy your video. Thanks.
Wow, it flights so nicely, I am still impressed by this simple Ring wing each time I make it.
I made one of these in 8th grade for a science competition, flew it in our auditorium from the balcony all the way to the stage and won. 💪
Flying Pope Hat
Lol
YOOO POPE HAT NO FLY
I find that using a square piece of paper results in a glider with only one tail rather than two, and if glides much better, more consistenly in a straight line. Throwing them from a tall building on a windless day is a great joy to watch.
Thank you Pablo
Exactly I tried this and it flys
Thanks a lot 😊
Been building this one for years, Flies equally well if after shaping the curve you don't close the circle.
It looks cool when it flies
You've got the best job evah!!!11!1
Excellent teaching technique!
Thank u 🥰🥰😍😍😍🤤🤤🤤
Wow really love this thanks for sharing!
I launch by flicking it upward by the 'top' of the ring. also I fold a little differently, I try to crease the paper along the opposing corners instead of the 90 degree angle trick in the video, but I'll probably try this method at some point.
Wow. My dad showed this to me 25 years ago and it never flew for me. The launch is the trick...
I just thought my dad was a good, turns out he was on to something
great video! Next should be a paper antibac bomber!
Grenade toss
Glad you're using the space from the old Lowry AFB. I went through tech school there from February to July 1981.

I have my fathers bomber jacket and, other things he wore and used, when he flew in a B-17 in the European theater from Nuthempsted Army Air Force Base in England as the radio operator, when the allies were bombing Germany.
I would love to donate all of his things to a flight museum so we could honor our father, who also flew during the Korean War, but he was stationed in the US and, All of the men and women that fought and gave their lives for us.
If y’all could try to contact me to help me out with this direction, I would truly appreciate any assistance in this objective.
Thank you, my brothers for what you do.
How many takes did that take?
If memory serves, we did that all at once on two cameras.
This looks like Trevor from GTAV, but only if he went down a good path
😂
나는 온라인 수업때문에 봤는데 뭔지 모르겠다 ㅋㅋㅋ
Learn that design in the early 1970s. Great flying paper “airplane.”
the good thing about the pandemic is that we have time to watch all kinds of useless videos without feeling bad for it
Definitely NOT a useless video, this is the "outside the box" thinking video that can inspire young minds.
Just a thought: his delivery is very calm and Bob Ross-ian, so the music feels too upbeat in my opinion. Maybe lower the tempo, something more laid back?
