বালিয়াটির জমিদাররা উনিশ থেকে বিশ শতক পর্যন্ত একাধিক স্থাপনা তৈরি করেছেন, যা দেশের পুরাকীর্তিকে বিশেষভাবে সমৃদ্ধ করেছে। পুরাকীর্তির ইতিহাসে বালিয়াটি জমিদার বাড়ি এক অনন্য সৃষ্টি। উনিশ শতকের দিকে এই বাড়ি নির্মিত হয়। একটি নিম্নবিত্ত সাহা পরিবার থেকেই বালিয়াটি জমিদার বংশের উদ্ভব।
