Vicki Sanders. I thoroughly appreciated this interview. I agree with Mr. Singh’s insight into the challenges we now face.

Mr Singh’s presentation was rock solid. The CBC is a vital foundation to Canadian Culture and Media and should be adequately funded and protected from predatory practices by Netflix and. Amazon which should’ve absolutely bound to a level playing field in broadcast standards and Canadian Contend and be required to pay their proper share of taxes

It is clear that Jagmeet Singh has looked into this and has a way to deal with the 'pilfering' of huge foreign companies and to control any 'hate' comments that encourage lack of understanding of other cultures in Canada.

They are not 'hate' comments, they are hate comments.

We shouldn’t confuse the medium and the message. Communications that are centred on hate and violence should be unacceptable regardless of the means of communication.

      They are already deemed acceptable.

One thing that could be done is have courses in schools on online safety, good manners, boundaries, respect and such. If that were a norm in education, since children use it now very early, we all would have the same tools and that would help in using the internet and keeping safe.

Apartments are a scam. Renting a house floor is a little cheaper.
Is there application for affordable living in BC?

Whenever I read a book and it's set in let's say, Dawson Creek, BC or St.John's, NFLD, I am so pleasantly surprised and interested immediately. I'm curious, I want to know how others live and how they think in the rest of Canada; that's our culture - it's us.
Canada must have Canadian content and a level playing field in the entertainment media. We have a lot of fantastic talent right here in Canada. Why does foreign media get a pass and only show American content?

Hmmm, it does sound like Mr. Singh foresees a new division of the RCMP, filled with people constantly monitoring the internet and blocking what they think violates some guideline. (China has these setups in spades.) I'm not sure that this is what Canadians want. It would have been helpful if he had answered the question: How exactly would you prevent "unwanted" content?

The internet is already monitored and already blocks content. Not really a new concept.

I would agree in CBC funding but not until there is no homelessness and people are cared for first. - Let's deal with the basic first!

This NDP leader is in awe of Liberalism and JT in particular. He is moving in those same circles and has supported the minority Liberal govt through all their corrupt ways and ethic violations standing with them when they should have shut the Liberals down long ago. Voting non confidence would have been a start to trust this party. Now I trust none of them. They work for us, always remember that and Mr. Singh has being working for himself, his party and the Liberals.
