    I like how you look everywhere for gains. Then lay it on the line so we dont waste money on stuff that wont help. Your honest and that is solid.

    I wish there were more people who ran dyno tests adjusting one part at a time like you guys do!! It really narrows down what works and what doesn't. I was interested in 501's and this channel helped me make up my mind. I can't wait to get one and purchase one of these bundles, you guys make it so easy for such a great price!

    Love your content. I went from being completely ignorant on the FI system in new bikes to being able to some what produce the necessary vernacular and understand of the FI system to appropriately make a decision on what to buy and modify.

    I have always said an engine that runs well at low rpm and idle ,especially under some load will always seem to work good at higher rpm.

    There’s not to many riders out there that can actually use 60 hp !

      well, he used it just lugging up in higher gears, right? always nice to have extra, and a rush when you use it.

    Walker rd, senator, or copper basin? Been 10 years since I moved away but I sure miss the monsoon riding in Prescott. Great developments like usual!

    Confused a little on the fuel programmer kit. I looked on your webpage for more info but still blurry. You mentioned 80% throttle and i agree with that. My question is sustained throttle for a hill climb or long grade that could be 15-30sec or up to a minute but that would be a big long ass hill. I would rather have more fuel and a near perfect AFR so i assume if the off chance of a long hill pull the programmer kit would be best?

    • @ktmhusky
      @ktmhusky  5 років тому +1

      Yes that's to long to be wide open at 15: 1 afr under heavy load. Use the programmer one and be safe

    Nice & informative video Dave! I always look forward to these. Your bike is looking good too! I can vouch for these power packages too. It completely changed my 350exc. I can only imagine what this package does to the 500’s.
    On another note, I am also wanting to try those Shinko Cheater tires after I run through this new Parker DT. It’s just not cutting it here in GA.

    • @nicholstop8161
      @nicholstop8161 5 років тому

      If I were u I’d try a trials tire. I’m running dot approved stock tires on my 250l but my buddy claims the trials tires r the way to go and he keeps his super low pressure so his 300 glides over rocks

    Going to purchase the 19' KTM 500 exc-f. I do about 85% tight trail and the rest short hill climbs. I'm no pro so I was planning on going with your TPS bundle. What do you think?

    • @ktmhusky
      @ktmhusky  5 років тому

      With the hillclimbs, you're better off with the programmer bundle, as you'll be wide open sometimes

      I am very happy with my stock 2019 KTM 500 EXC F, it has never stalled on me yet and it can tractor up hills at low rpm when I want that and can scream at high rpm full throttle when that is needed. Much more easy to ride then my old Yamaha WR450 :)

      You are right. Thats why all is tested and developed on a dyno. They are all on this same channel or you can see on this page. www.ktmandhusky.com/2017-19-500-501-build-from-stock-to and all the graphs on this page. www.ktmandhusky.com/2017-ktm-exc-450-500
