  • The famous 3 foolish lies we say before starting any project, I can build that FASTER, CHEAPER, and BETTER! Well we might not always be right, but who's kidding its a lie, but lets face it we like the challenge. So today i'm going to build 2 cabinets for my living room. I don't know if these will be faster or cheaper, but I think they'll be better. Rob, How tall are those cabinets? Now that you've had them a hot minute, do you still like that height and is the color holding fast? If you had to do it again, what would you do differently?

      I can’t remember the exact height, but I think around 34”. I’d have to go back and measure it’s been about a year since I built them😬. The height has been great though.
      The color was requested by my wife, I would have chosen solid would, but they both are holding up great. I don’t really have any regrets they are mainly used for holding board games, and blankets.👍🏻

    Dope build man‼️💪
    Sidenote: For those voids that ~3 coats of epoxy, if you hit the voids with some CA glue and activator first it'll stabilize the void and prevent it from soaking up all the epoxy like a 🧽 lmao 💯
    (It also works when gluing butt joints etc. where the glue is going on the end grain to keep it from just sucking all the glue up through capillary action! 👌)

      Thank you. I totally agree with the ca glue truck, unfortunately I ran out of activator, and wanted to get through the epoxy part, so I just pressed forward and did it the old fashion way.
      Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. 👊🏻

    WTH man, she's been on you for 5 years to make them, but didn't have hardware ready??!!!?? 🤣I would have been so annoyed with drilling through the top, but in the end I'd love it. It's a reminder I did that when most wouldn't even try to. Great job man!

      @brewbuilds  Рік тому +1

      Dude I never even thought about that! 😂😂
      Drilling through the top was a huge bummer, I was going to cut a nice bow tie for it, but I was pretty angry at that point. 😂
