What was so "scary" about any of it?
And contrary to what you've stated about the Chernobyl exclusion zone, people live in it. I even saw a woman who had been into and out of the zone more times than she could count, making UA-cam videos all the while. She even went into the basement area of the hospital where many of the people were put after participating in the immediate " clean up" just after the disaster eventuated. She took videos of a room where all the clothes that they were wearing were discarded, still on the floor in a big pile. She couldn't stay in the room very long at all, but she got the video and to my knowledge she is still alive today.

Radioactivity,Oh no! Scare mongering,it did release a large cloud of radiation at the time that did get blown west over Europe & United Kingdom at the time which was disconcerting at the time, however!, Did it cause widespread illness & death? Not to my knowledge & I live in the UK.
There have been studies carried out since in the area ,it appears that even though the flora & fauna show some signs of contamination it doesn't look to be having any obvious effects & they are carrying on be it with the trees, grass or mammals (not sure about fish). The real silver lining is that there's a good chance it won't be developed & built up on for a bloody good while.

Why does killing a load of snakes get brushed off as OK because it doesn't suit the humans, those animals had more than likely gathered there for generations, we as a species don't appear to have learnt anything about our place in the nature of things, disgusting.

In America it’s more important to develop houses and parking lots on large land that animals live on then humans complain that animals are bugging them or being attacked by them. As a plus they complain about flooding and too much heat when it’s all that “development” and heat bouncing of the concrete and water not having anywhere to go. I agree with you 100%

Well to be fair they are snakes and the people are probably bible thumpers so naturally they hate them. Mother nature always wins in the long run and the snakes are still there.

The New Zealand MOA went extinct less than 200 years ago as they were still present when the first white explorers ventured to New Zealand, so I don't know where you get your outdated misinformation from but you should use facts not speculation before you speak absolute rubbish.
