- It's a chatty one! Spend the week with me and bake some sourdough bread, make some jar toppers, and tidy up!
Day in my life in the Lincolnshire Countryside, early spring slow living, doggy walks, beautiful nature, baking cakes, relaxing music, family life, rainy days, peaceful homemaking, simple living, quiet days, calm your mind, gentle to yourself, crazy cocker spaniel, knitting and crochet.

You did a great job at the sourdough. My daughter started making sourdough and really got me hooked. We bake loads every weekend. Your videos are lovely. I knit away while watching.

Thank you for your gentle vlog while I was doing some quiet bear-knitting. It’s so hard to be a sensitive person in a world where there are a few insensitive people. I think it’s polite when I’m out walking and a cyclist rings their bell to warn me that they are approaching! Otherwise I can get a bit of a fright when they come past. Take care xx❤

Your sour dough loaf looked delicious. I think we all agree that finding the right lids for our Tupperware is as mysterious as missing sock pairs and yet I still stash all the Tupperware away thinking I’ll sort that next time! 😊

Sorry about your cycling incident.Where I live its single track roads with alot of bikes and I wish they used bells as I cant hear them behind me, especially when walking our dog. Some are polite and shout morning which I appreciate. I like a good sort out. Your sourdough looked good. Hope you have a good week. X

Dear Belinda i hope you are feeling better with the nose and the toothache 🙏🏻. I was Bullied all my childhood , every day in school, and now I’m 54 , so peoples words can still hurt , and effects me more than normal as a consequence of daily bullying as a child , but I’ve also changed as a grownup, I don’t let anyone get to me anymore, now I defend myself and I’m not afraid anymore …I feel so strong when I let my self have that power 💪🏼…please dont stop cycling, just continue ring the bell when you feel it , and ignore people with stupid words, enjoy your day ❤ im also really sentimental when it comes to animals , I hope the bird was okay 😘 your bread 😋 it looks like it turned out great , well done 🤗 ha, ha…so much space in your cupboard…you can’t imagine how much I’ve got stuffed in my cupboard ! 😅😂🫣well done for trying to declutter 👏🏼 I wish I was better doing that 😅 thank you for sharing your thoughts and days And Hallo Belinda’s mum , you have a lovely daughter 🌸🌷

Another lovely, comforting video from a lovely lady:) Your bread looked marvelous and i really liked the animals at the farm shop. Try not to let unhappy, mean people dictate to you, I think sounding a bell on a bike is very polite and courteous. As for the little bird in distress, I am exactly the same and try to help where I can. To hear any sentient being in pain is really upsetting ans calls to all our nurturing instincts. I am upset for hours by it.

Hi Belinda, your sourdough bread looks absolutely amazing! And I do think your pink cardigan is nicer with the shorter sleeves. 😊..... Just a thought about the rude lady with the bicycle incident... Some people are just unhappy people on the inside and their behaviour has really got nothing to do with you at all. Don't stop riding your bike if you enjoy it. Life is just too short, so do what makes you happy 😊🚲💗

That was a lovely vlog. I am sorry that you had such a bad experience riding your bike, I don’t know why some people feel the need to be mean. The problem is though that when you are a sensitive person things like this are very upsetting. I hope that you can one day face getting back on your bike, people like this shouldn’t stop you from doing something you enjoy. Your sourdough loaf looks fantastic, and that shawl is going to be lovely. I am looking for a shawl pattern to use for two special skeins that I bought on holiday last year.

Hi Belinda, Our fields are greening up now but are still full of large puddles, the farmers have not had a good time of it yet this year.
When I moved last time I sorted out a cupboard full of china and sent it all to the charity shop. I cleared all my low carb flours etc from my larder cupboard on the weekend and I now have an empty shelf to play with.
A good sort out does make you feel good sometimes though doesn't it X

Hi Belinda. Things are still a little chilly in Sudbury Ontario for sitting out as well, although I am looking forward to the day when morning coffee outside will be a thing for me. Really lovely vlog Belinda. Your Tupperware cupboard made me laugh as I was sharing ( moaning ) at work today about the pain of it and how you cannot find a decent Tupperware that microwave and dishwasher safe without staining ! 😮 I decided to upgrade from the horrible plastic ones to glass with bamboo lids , which don’t like the dishwasher 🙈 so now I have loads of glass bases and no lids as they have fallen apart 🤣 so if you find a solution let me know. I’m too lazy to hand wash 😃🤣.. your bread looked amazing and im definitely inspired , hoping to pop to the farm shop tomorrow for ingredients 🙌… thanks again for a wonderful vlog and hello to your mum 😘 xx

I hadn't thought about how to leave a comment when watching podcasts on the TV. I watch them on my tablet, often propped up next to the bath while I have a soak. I have a cupboard just like that..cant reach a thing and hard to clean. I don't have cupboards on the walls either for the same reason😊 can I ask where you will sell your EB..di you have an ebay account perhaps. I love the teapot 😊😊😊
