So lovely to take a trip to see your daughter when she needed it. I find nothing pushes me out of my comfort zone like my child needing something. I’m always at my bravest for them. My electric kettle recently died and I needed a new one. I found that Laura Ashley one with the matching toaster and had to have them both! I absolutely love them. Such a pretty floral pattern.
They are so pretty and I was so very tempted 😘

Well done with your driving trip to see your dear daughter, I have to conquer a fear I have at getting up to my sons place about 21/2 hours away, the traffic is horrific let alone the busy motorway and making sure that you are in the right lane for branching off.My husband always drove before.So lovely to see you are in light summer clothing, its becoming very wintry here in NZ and needing warm clothes and heating. Hi Belinda, just popped on to say that I’ve just binge watched all of your vlogs, including this one over the bank holiday weekend. I really loved all of them and seeing your finished projects has made me want to pick up my knitting needles and blow the dust off my sewing machine too. I have never managed to crochet or knit socks, I always go wrong, so I’m very jealous of your beautiful cardi and blankets. My sister recommended you to me and I’m so glad she did. We’ve recently moved to Lincs and I’m looking forward to exploring some of the craft shops in the area. Funnily enough, my daughter graduated from Surrey Uni last year so we’ve done that journey a fair few times and so I know how brave you are for doing it solo. You really are an inspiration as your ‘have a go’ attitude to everything is making me feel a bit braver too. Looking forward to your future vlogs. Thank you for making me smile. Xx

@@BelleandStitch We are loving Lincolnshire thank you, especially my Hubby as he’s retired slightly early lucky thing!My eldest daughter came up here to go to Uni 10 years ago and loved it so much that she stayed, so we’d been travelling up from Kent for years. (Such a horrible journey!)Each time we came we loved it even more, so we seized the opportunity to move in October 2022. It’s been quite tough at times as I miss my family and friends from down South, but overall no regrets. We’re just up the road from Woodhall Spa (love the Kinema) and we went to Doddington last year, so gorgeous and will definitely be going back as soon as I can (Will have to save some pennies as the shop and cafe are too lovely!) I work in a school so tend to explore in the school holidays so I can’t wait till the Summer to discover some new places. Xx
@@annethirkell3934 Woodhall Spa was where I wanted to be when we moved here from Hampshire but I didn’t get my own way, we do have another move in us though So it still might happen one day 😁. We just love the Kinema as well and it’s our first choice for watching movies. It’s certainly a little slower paced here and I was glad to get home after the few days 😘
@@BelleandStitchHaha snap to wanting to move to Woodhall Spa! That’s exactly where we planned on moving to but back in 2022 there were slim pickings during our house search, so when we found our house in Martin, it was close enough for us to nip there for shops and church etc. Our son is about to leave 6th form in Horncastle so we needed to be close enough for his commute to school too. We’ve had to adjust to village life, especially as we’ve only got a pub and no shops. It was a bit of a shock to the system not having access to services 24/7 but the benefits of a slower pace of life outweigh that. The last time we returned from visiting Kent, I was glad to get away from the hustle and bustle. Xx

Your cardigan is so lovely, you suit that colour! Cheesecake looks so yummy. I lost all my confidence in driving and avoided it all costs until my husband had a heart attack before Christmas and couldn't drive for ages so I had to put my big girl pants on too and get on with it. Now I feel a lot better about it. Nice to have some time with your daughter, bet she really appreciated that xx
