Hi John, I was just about to buy it and combine it with my Beolab 18 and Eclipse Gen 1.... but the B&O rep told me that it would be a waste of money as the Eclipse Gen 1 cannot do much with the 19. Any thoughts on that?
Thanks Kasper. You can connect two BeoLab 19's as you suggest. I probably wouldn't recommend it with a stereo 2 channel setup. 7.2 is also possible with the Avant, 2 sub woofers can even out the bass response over more seating positions in a cinema system. They need fairly careful placement and setup so as they don't cancel each other out at certain frequencies, likewise 2 subs can create unwanted peaks at certain frequencies. There is an option on the Avant for front and rear sub woofer, that will help with bass management. John
I want to create 7.1 surround audio system, and confused what to pick, but i really want 2 x Beolab 5 and 3 x Beolab 3 included in this system, I Love Deep Bass, can you please suggest, what i need more to build this whole system?
That's all you need if you are using a B&O TV. The TV becomes the centre speaker, BeoLab 3 are surround and rear speakers and BeoLab 5 for front left and right. You don't use a sub woofer with BeoLab 5, they each have a 15" sub on board. BeoLab 19 is not needed. John
@@BangOlufsenManchester im trying to connect it wirelessly with the swivel tv 55, Beolab 5 x2 and Beo 18 x2. The subwoofer indicator keeps blinking green when the system is off but red then no colour when the system is on.
Thank you for a great channel... I just bought the Beolap 18+19 to my new Avant 55" - But, I need my 19 to give a "better bass". I tried to set it up according to my local B&O stores guidance, but I´d like it to be more "short"... Very hard to describe... But... its kinda like noising to looong. The kick in is long - like BUUUUUUUM, i´d very much like it to be shorter/faster like BUM.... Did that give you any idea of what I mean...? I´ve tried so many things now, and I cannot get it right. I´ve got such a great sound in my car, and I miss that in my livingroom. This 19 unit is suppose to be the best according to B&O, and, its damn great when i´m watching a movie, just like the ciname - but when playing music louder that the bass in the 18 follow, its just... ehm... noicy-ish... With out it playing music, I miss bass, but with it, its to much some how... Any ideas?
Hello Kasper, thanks for watching my channel. I know exactly what you mean. It sounds like you are experiencing 'boom' extending the bass notes so the decay is prolonged, it gets tiring to listen to. No amount of turning levels up will help, rather make it worse. The first thing to try is placement, try a couple of different spots in the room, try to stay away from corners, that will make the sub excite the room more, you are hearing the effect of the sound waves bouncing off the walls and creating peaks at certain frequencies. Assuming you have the speaker roles set correctly in the TV start at a fairly low setting on the sub level, try a different spot slightly away from the wall, close to the wall, the other side of the TV etc and you'll find the bass is different every time. If that doesn't work you can also try moving your chair if possible, if it's hard against a back wall try moving forward a few inches. The sub level should be set so that bass sounds like it's coming from the main speakers, if you can tell the bass is coming from the sub and it draws attention to itself it's set too high. It's all trial and error, it's never as simple as popping a sub in the corner and away you go, every room and setup sounds different. Experiment and you'll find a happy compromise eventually. Sorry for the long answer, I hope it makes sense! John.
itl work fine, but tbh penta is one of the best speakers B&O ever made, so it wont add as much to them as say for example 8000,6000 that came after penta and the modern stuff like 18 in the vid etc benefit more from it too, pentas were made at a loss tbh, despite their high price tag in late 80s/early 90s, the only speakers ive owned that can outrun good lab pentas in my collection are my lab5 darlecks and even then not alot in it :)
Hi! I'm a average mortal consumer who is interested into buying a first sound equipment and I would like to acquaire a BeoLab19, but what I'm noticing is that this product complements others. Am I right? Can somebody help me with my doubt?
I never see the point to be honest. You can't hear it, especially with a subwoofer. You hear my lapel mic through your speakers. Even if I did a comparison with and without the sub my mic wouldn't pick up any significant difference. Its something you have to experience for yourself really. John.
2 Beolab 18 i got already... the Rest after Lottery Win....
What a heavenly match with BeoLab 18 John!
It sounds superb in the demo room, never fails to impress customers. John
How do I connect this too my phone bruh
Thanks for the demo. Quick question : is it possible to pair the Beolab 19 to a Beo soundshape set up ?

If I connect my bl19 to my bl18 and then connect my bl18 to Beoplay hub then to my Sony tv, what do u think I should do with my LP filter
Have you heard the Beolab 90 speakers? They're absolutely incredible! I heard them in Struer (Denmark) a little over a week ago
I've not had the pleasure of BeoLab 90 yet. If I ever do I will have my camera ready for a video. John.
I had this sub couple of days. What Can I say, quality of this sub not like beolab 2 but music accuracy brilliant !
Kyama . What do u mean the quality is not like bl2
Enclosure of this sub made from plastic not aluminium. Only front and rear round rings made from ALU.
you had me at "a little bit sad? yes" LOL
I bet that whole setup costs 15 grand. B&O do make really good products
Thanks for this video. I was always confused about the settings on my 19 - I think I will adjust them now. Cheers
Hi John. I love your channel!
Is it possible to connect 2 beolab 19s to a Beosound moment or Beovision avant? Like 7.2 surround sound?
Regards Kasper

Hi can you help me how to connect beolab 19 to Av Amp thanks
Beolab 19 has an RCA line in like any other active subwoofer. Set the input switch to LINE and you're good to go making your setup adjustments.
Thank you for a great channel...

Will they work good with the Penta Series speakers are they too new for that?

Always wanted this but not needed it with a beolab 7.2 👍
Even the mighty BeoLab 7.2 would benefit from BeoLab 19.
I just bought a beolab 7.2😍
I’d love to know if I can connect this to a Beo sound 3000.
You can indeed
