I know it was only 5-years ago... but it's great to look back and see what they were doing at that point in time.
So much has happened in the last five years. They are still going strong. The future is yet to be written.

Miho discovered metal through UA-cam and some other bands too.....as for me thankfully I discovered MIHO the metal head and Lovebites the best heavy metal band in UA-cam 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

There are not many female metal bands as far as i know but lovebites for me is easily be number 1 for all female metal band in the world..before them i used listen to all female bands like vixen (catagorized as rock/hard rock) and phantom blue..and they both were good too..for now since 2019 lovebites is my #1..🔥🤘🐺🇯🇵
I can think of several all female bands off the top of my head. Lonesome Blue, BAND-MAID, Rolling Quartz, Paranoid Void, Show-Ya, Fate Gear, Aldious, Nemophila, LOVEBITES, Gacharic Spin, Scandal . . .

People rarely seem to mention "The Iron Maidens". Yeah, they were a cover band, but they were really good. I'm a fan of Nita Strauss and Courtney Cox.

2024 is my guess for when they will resume overseas touring, starting with Europe.

Lovebites is looking at US TOUR in 2024
No doubt. We are expecting it.

They talked about it in an interview they had on Japanese TV that a US TOUR is in the works. They were originally scheduled to do their 1st US TOUR in 2020/21, but then the pandemic and lockdown (covid ruined everything!!) And then Miyako had a baby, then Miho left, and then Asami had a baby!!! So right now, they are touring Japan and then Asia tours, which will take them to Seoul, Taiwan; Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, and Manila. They are then going to work on dates for Europe and UK tour and, of course, the US and Canada!! I don't care where I or how far I have to travel to see them, and hopefully, I will be able to see more than just one show!!!! I have had to apply for a new passport as my old one expired, and I've heard that passport applications are backlogged. If I had a current passport, I would even travel overseas to see Lovebites!!!!!

Found a video on yt, showing Lovebites playing in a small club (only for a few hundreds people max) in the town I live in only a few weeks before they played at Wacken in 2018 - wish I knew them back then...

Is it Hamburg, Essen or Aschaffenburg? Same for me, I only know them for 2 years now. Since i live in southern Germany, i would have been at the Aschaffenburg concert. There is a full show fan cam available from this gig …

Can't believe, they were in 'Logo' Bar in 2018, just around where I've studied. That's as close as can be. I'm really much too late to the party!
Their journey is so challenging. their effort to stay firm in metal music was the greatness of them. Respect. The youth generation today has many different kinds of music..i think. Thanks for the interview clip 👍👍🤘🤘

Asami is the spokesperson for pretty much all of their interviews. Asami and Midori are the most fluent in English. Asami write the lyrics in English.
In the early days Miho was the leader and spokesperson. It is Asami now.

They are the best ever. Their music proves that the gender playing it is largely irrelevant…except to say that they have produced songs that male bands would be unable to perform authentically…the reverse does not apply.
Two things I want to see on the next Lovebites album: a new ballad, and a song that is at least 15-minutes long.
Both of those things would be amazing!
