so, i made the famous beginning boutique crochet dress. This literally took me FOREVER. I hope you enjoy the video bbys
˚✧₊⁎ PATTERN (but not really)⁎⁺˳✧༚
* To work out the circumstance of the dress: Widest hip measurement take away 2 inches so mine was 32-2= 30”
* Crochet a chain to match this length then create a round with a ss
* do two rows of triples per colour and repeat 18-21 times
* do 4 rows of single sts in the different colours
Halter top
* again do this to your measurements, I used 22 sts
* do a single row of double for each colour
* repeat 7 times
* crochet a chain to tie the tops together
scalloping
* single sts in first sts
* 5 triple in next st
* skip stitch
* repeat

This is really late but I’d like to know if you did straight stitches all the way through for the main piece or did you decrease for the tight waist?
@@toenailsthethird155 it looks like they went from double crochets to single crochets on the more fitted part which is a smaller and more sturdy stitch giving it the smaller more together look!!

pro tip: instead of cutting at each color change, you can carry your colors up the inside of the garments and then if there's an issue and you have to take it out at any point, you don't have to worry about all your yarn being in little bits

Hey so I’m currently making this dress too (albeit with no crochet experience lol) and I found a pattern on Etsy from the seller called Crocheting. Personally I’ve ditched the pattern and gone with a similar method as mentioned in this video as I found that easier considering I know NOTHING and the pattern is quite complicated to understand! Hope my dress turns out somewhat similar to yours it’s stunning!!!

crochet is about shapes. triangles and rectangles and tubes. measure your top and hips and bust size. the more you learn arugami shapes the easier it is to make clothing. i make dog clothes for my chihuahua
