The only problem with that is the smaller you make it the more unstable it is. Like, not unstable but if you make something a 10 millimeters you have to think about that but scaled up by 20 to get to a small model plane. So there is a 200 mm mistake and when something like a wing is 200 mm longer it makes a massive difference in the flight. TLDR you have to be near perfect because everything is super exaggerated when it’s tiny.
That's fun. When the rebuilt version took off and the wing was visibly out of whack I thought, "Oh hell, here we go again!" Was pleasantly surprised that it held out and the plane was able to do multiple circuits and landings despite the wing. Awesome work!

If you watch a few Ryanair landings you will realize these guys are really professional!
people in the past: we will have a flying car in the future
today: *flying leaf blower*
not to woosh but
*Flying cars exist*
not to tell the truth but all of it is just *concept* and not safe for commercial use
Man that sounded like a turbine when the extension was added lol
Leaf blowers: “Wish I could fly..”
Peter: “Say no more”
It sounded like a jet with the nozzle extension. Way cool!!!
I was thinking the same thing.
Anyone else here because it was randomly in the recommended section? The random cool stuff you find in there sometimes!!!
Albert Person123 key word sometimes

Who in the frick would like recommendations the stuff i hate most shows up there
Mr. A Person i love the , comment lol😎
8:30 Nailed it bro! Those landings were spot on.
2030: Hey wanna see a flying brick powered by a desk fan?
Does it need to be in one piece? I think desk fan can easily make brick powder fly around :D
@@APN201 fucking loopholes lmao
Make it a challenge, a brick wall
Hey Peter just for the fun of it .. use a piece of pcv pipe I am not sure what size to use but if it went through the spars close to either the middle or leading edge of the wing. It would let the wing flex but not allow it to break . Hope to see it soon.
That would be too heavy. Better to use some light weight hollow aluminum tubing
UA-cam Recommended: *Hey wanna see a Flying Leaf Blower?*
By far one of the best projects I've seen! Honestly, this is giving me motivation to try to build a plane as well but with 2 leaf blowers! This is insane. Great work!
A plane flown by little handheld Dremel tools wood be pretty cool.
Actually a solid idea! I second this. (Maybe too easy though?)
YEAH B-17 w/ four cordless dremels
@@rossherman4515 yeah a speed controller controlled remotley by a servo could adjust the throttle, and you could use differential thrust for stearing it.
Seems like the cordless drill challenge on easy mode. But I'd still enjoy watching that.
@@pauljs75 actually most dremel are 10,000RPM++ with huge motor (weight alot) it will be very hard.
Try wings that are slightly concaved underneath if you decide to redo this, it should provide a lot more lift
Around 10 minutes in, the thing really starts looking like a V1 rocket.
Badgerrr Lattin imagine seeing this thing flying down on ur house going like mach 2
Make an angle grinder plane. Lots of tourque plus spins fast
Was looking for this comment, matching the right prop will give wicked dynamic thrust.
Helicopter.
Watching you today for the first time was like entering a time capsule into 1980 when I did what you enjoy airing on UA-cam. I really enjoyed watching your videos I encourage my children to learn from your videos. Thank you for making time to video record and edit and all you do. We love the outcome of all the hard work you and your team produce ❤.
Ok boomer
@@jerjee That makes no sense. Just respect the guy jesus. Man sounds like he had an awesome life. And I love the 80s haha.
@@TheDemonWasTaken It wasnt supposed to make sense dumbass. I dont need to respect this bozo or any other random dude on the internet.
@@jerjee wow you got the whole squad laughing

@@jerjee dude dont ruin this moment.
This is UA-cam at it's finest. Thank you Peter.
"you got a hole on your left wing!"
you basically built an ME-162 XD
What wing?
You mean He-162?
Looks much more like a v1 flying bomb
Darius Crawford Leaf blower pulse jet
More like a V-1 ngl. He should make a pulsejet.
Plane: flies
Wing: Aight I'm out
Jaden Borges 😭😂
Aight imma head out*
Amazon 2023: Add an Leaf Blower to current order for delivery within 5 minutes.
Article "an" cannot be put before word that starts with a consonant.
@@renascence239 THANK YOU
@@renascence239 you just did
I think he meant to say “any”
hello I'm gay now that damage has already been done...
I wish I could like this video twice.
It sounded like the love-child of a vacuum and a jet.
Last time I was this early Epstein hadn’t killed himself
Anakin Skywalker So...no difference?
