Nice job. The feed sent me a half a dozen videos about this today. I'm a nerd so I watched a few of them. To your credit you were the only person who mentioned strength training in any fashion so kudos.
As someone who uses training peaks, this is a game changer and will make it so much easier to comply with the workout without having to check my phone constantly to remember what the next interval is
Great vid, keen to give training peaks a try. You mentioned there's some good 3rd party strength training/workout apps you use. Could you please share which you like using that sync well with the AW?
Good morning! I just got the Apple Watch Ultra and I am following along with your video and I’m stuck where I cannot see Training Peaks as an available app. Do you have any suggestions? My iOS on phone and watch are up to date
If only the workout would open on the iPhone for indoor running the way a cycling workout does! Hope to see you in London. All the best for the training. I start in New Year’s Day!
I used it today on the treadmill. When it came up, you could choose indoor or outdoor workout. I’ve never used it for cycling so can’t compare there, but it was treadmill friendly :-)
I am new to the app and I was wondering that it’s normal that Training Peak is only pulling the most actual workouts of the day, all my old workouts are not showing up at all. I connected watch and health correctly
Hi, following you from Spain. I was wondering if still is taking into account RESTING TEMPO as part of total distance. I expect when I am resting not adding some info such as distance or pace in the training session, otherwise it will mess up the information on Strava so don't make much sense adding resting tempo in your workout, just pausing it. Do you know if still works like that?
I wish you could add a description to each interval. Or see what number of the repeats you're on. Sometimes it feels like I'm just biking through all the intervals with no end in sight haha.
I have now found out the following. When I import a workout from TrainingPeaks to the Apple Watch and then start this TP workout (with the TP app icon), I don't get any audio notifications, only the intervals are shown by vibration and on the display. However, if you call up the TrainingPeaks workout and then scroll all the way down, you get the "Add to App Training" function. If you do this (you can then set indoor or outdoor) and then start the training from the training app in the "Running" section, you will also get all the audio notifications about the interval times and whether you are above or below the current pace.
Why doesn't apple have this option from Mac software like all other running watches do? it's the only thing stopping me from going back to Apple Watch. why is it only from training peaks or other poor apps or the watch itself.
Seems like a bit of an oversight that it gives you the distance in km but the pacing speed in miles. I wonder if that’s an oversight by Training Peaks or if it’s some sort of weirdness happening when sending the custom workout face to the watch.
Hello, I have question. I start the run, but i forget which HR shoud i run or which pace. How to see it without watching the Iphone? It's so bad that there is not any function for it.

Will this work with the Apple Watch 8?
I'm confused. TrainingPeaks has training plans for swimming. Do these plans not work with Apple Workouts?
Apple doesn’t support custom workouts for swimming… yet!
