Same here brother. 1st Spyderco was a pm2 earth brown s35vn , as soon as I got it ordered another just to put away. Now I’m around 180 Spyderco knives deep and slowing down my purchases till I sell some off. Good stuff bud 👍🏻
Bought a PM 2 to be a 'One and Done' back in the day..ffw to this afternoon "But Honey..the blade steel is made from SPACESHIPS and the scales are DWARVEN FORGED!!"
Seems they have recently on some models. The bodacious got cheaper I think 🤔 just ordered a Stretch 2 k390 , my 3rd of the same model. I don’t know why I just really like that model. All the pd#1 sprints are still available at National Knives and are fair prices ✌🏼
@DuhYaThink yeah i do agree there are some great deals around. It just sucks remembering 2010 prices. Recently got the mint green manix lw in CPM-M4 for $130. But I really want a shaman.
@ They definitely ain’t cheap. I picked up the BHQ M4 micarta Shamans in satin and dlc. Then again🤔 they weren’t more than a s30v Shaman. I am waiting for a Bodacious in a different steel.
Nice collection. Spyderco is my favorite by far. I haven’t purchased any other brands in several years. I am waiting for a Sage 5 in Rex 121 to arrive.
I was a Spyderco fan and owned over a dozen. I kind of got a bad taste of them after I sent a Stretch in to be repaired. The back spring lost all tension. They said I had taken it apart and messed it up myself. Basically called me a liar and refused to warranty it. Their warranty is worthless. Be aware.
I don't think CTS-XHP is like D2 at all. XHP is a stainless steel. D2 is a semi stainless tool steel. XHP is quite a bit tougher, with slightly better edge retention. XHP all day. Also, Carpenter Technology discontinued XHP, so hang on to it. I've owned and modded/sold a bunch of them over the years. Favorite brand by far. I just got my second 2nd PM2 Crucarta. Did a skinny mod on it. Added a saltwater patina backspacer. Great video.
Don’t need an excuse spyderco is just simply the best in the game. Decent prices (if you know where to look), lots of USA made options, great “work knife” designs and some unique options too, excellent heat treat and cool unique steels. My fav knife company🕷️🔪❤
I used to like spyderco like many others. at this point though there are so many other brands that are much more competitive for the price, materials and quality. have owned dozens in the past and only 2 have stuck around para 3 with skinny scales and a spydiechef and tbh I have knives that fit the same niche as both and could get rid of both. I think there designs just simply arent good when you compare them to other knives especially in the price point. although I might give the sage 6 a chance and I think there best design was the spyderco junior it is the only one I regret selling and frankly I just dislike plastic on my knives if I spending 150+ dollars
Things like the k2, hundred pacer, Myrtle and Mamba are what made me a fan of Spyderco. Their quality has gone downhill a lot in the last couple years, and they're putting out a ton of stuff that doesn't interest me but i understand they have to make 50 different pm2s before they can make the strange stuff i like.
@@CNYKnifeNut I 100% agree, with the recent reveal I do like some of there Lion steel collaborations. But yeah there hasn't been anything super unique. With that recent lock stick on my Pm3 it was definitely a little disappointing.
I got my first spyderco for Christmas from my boss at work and it’s the same blue translucent manix 2 except mine is in cts bd1n what’s the difference in mine vs urs? Safe to say tho I’m hooked on spydies now I have a para 3 salt on the way!
59 year spyderco fan boy here, so this is what its come too, onwards to the end!

You’ve got a good problem to have!
@ I guess it could be worse 🤷♂️✌🏼

😂😂😂
Spyderco all day everyday and by the way you have a nice collection
Couldn't agree more!
I'm waiting for my Dragonfly K390 to arrive to complement my Endela also in K390. Nice collection
That’s gonna be a nice pairing!
Spyderco is my favorite as well. Wish they could come down on some of the prices.

@DuhYaThink I have an vg10 endura, for like ten years. I love it. The stretch gives me the same great vibes, I don't have one though.

I was a Benchmade guy until I was gifted a Spyderco Police 4 in K390 steel.
Damn that’s a hell of a gift!
Love my mint green m4 Endura
That color is killer!
What up my Spyderbros!
Nice collection. Spyderco is my favorite by far. I haven’t purchased any other brands in several years. I am waiting for a Sage 5 in Rex 121 to arrive.
You can’t go wrong with a Rex 121!
I want a pm2 tauto I wasn't able to get one
I'm a fan of them as well. I have a couple dozen of them.
Good video brother! I cab relate!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

Wow that’s disappointing to hear.
I got my bodacious on sale for 166, knife new favorite Spyderco!
Those who know choose Spyderco!!!😉🙃
XHP is my jam 😮💨
Awesome collection friend, I also am a really big fan of spyderco knives!!
I only have 4 right now.

I forgot to specify that the backspacer is in copper.
Good eye, you know your steels.

My collection so far: s45vn para3 (still my fav for edc), spydiechef, rex 121 sage 5 lw, rex 10v lil native, m4 manix 2 lw. All fantastic!
Couldn’t have said it better myself!
Usa made, sick steels, sick heat treat, great owners that care. Thats it, i only buy spydercos and use all of them👊
Just bought my first spderco fixed blade bow river with g10. I just prefer fixed blades. Unless the otfs
You can't go wrong with a fixed blade
Hey what is your favorite spyderco? I have a super blue dragonfly
Join the clubs and you will almost never pay retail for all those beautiful knives. I saw a Stovepipe LNIB sell for 275 this week.
That’s a steal!
i love that their knives have a reliable lock system, imo axis lock is dogshit

If you actually use them they are one of the best designs, if you buy them just to look at them then i understand.
