It's so obvious that Craig is looking for someone to talk to; someone he can call a friend. I've just watched the SE clip again; it's really weird coming back to watch this and knowing where they'll be in a couple of years time. Have to admit, I love how we leave them going to the canteen and then when we see them in the scene, they're already acting like really good mates. :)
You can already tell they're drawn to each other here. John Paul trying to protect Craig and Craig trying to impress John Paul. I bet they felt something there from the first time they met, even if they didn't understand it at the time.
I guess I never really thought that people from England would actually want to come to the States, when all of us Americans want to get out of the States and go to England. It's kind of funny in a way :D
I know Sonny's bullying was a plot-device to bring JP and Craig closer together, but Sasha was younger than him and she didn't go around making Craig's life a misery. He should've taken advice from her.
Ok, how is it that the British speaks english, yet I, an american, can barely understand what they're saying. It's frustrating watching a British show. I almost rather watch a foreign show with subtitles. :-P But I'll suck it up and watch. I've heard that this is a good storyline.
dinard38 well, pretty much same here if I'm watching a show where there's a really thick american accent (there's so many variations I can't name them)
Angel Cake Wait!!!!! We Americans have accents??? 😉😏😊🙃 I always wondered how our accents sounded to other English speaking countries like England, Australia, and New Zealand and if they sounded just as strong.
It's not only British speaking that I don't understand....Sometimes I need the subtitles for American shows and I am American too...Especially if the character talks fast like Maxie Jones from General Hospital if you've ever watched it xD
Fun fact: Canadian accent is the most distinguishable English accent there is because of the way we pronounce words. As well as in history when the English came to Canada (and some of America) the previous English accents stuck, so we actually talk like the old English people used to. The for more universally understandable

I love McDean! This is the second time I've watched their storyline and these actors are just amazing!

Never thought a voice could be so annoying like Craig´s but i´m still obsessed with these two and i go back every 2-3 years to watch them lol.
