Hard to believe this design is 75+ years old. It’s just gorgeous in the air. Well, with a pilot like Chris. I’ll be flying mine with some sort of gyro/auto level/panic mode. I have a more hours on the Marlin before I go dual EDF. Great flying Chris. You made it look easy. I’m not falling for it! (LOL!)
Definitely a cool factor with the Me-262,just think if it would have surfaced in the early '40's! This one is a very sweet looking and flying edf, great job Chris!
I ordered one yesterday. I’ve been practicing on real flight 9.5 but that’s a turbine model. I hope the edf slows down because you need a mile on the simulator. Lol.
Great video, great flying, great filming, great location. Even your hair looked great. (I’m becoming folically challenged, so add that to the list of things that irk me about your videos) Question- Is there room for the Assan Steering gyro in the battery compartment? I have a plan. After 5 years I boldly claimed, “I can fly and trim out any plane.” Tracking on takeoff and landing, well there’s work to do. I decided why fight it? Get a steering gyro for these expensive planes/EDF’s so the planes track straight on takeoff and buy the outrageously expensive AR637T so I can land in Safe if needed. (I know me. Anything over $350 is going to require, “if needed”) This will leave an electric wheelchair and a respirator to purchase. Then I if I can then get to the field, I won’t have to walk or breathe on my own power and the planes will takeoff, fly and land on their own. Isn’t technology great! There will be a day when I fly the Me262, 1600mm P-38, and the 80mm a-10 with nothing but AS3X and be like you, I’m just not seeing it on the Horizon. (No pun intended)
Haha, thanks! I don’t know the size of the gyro, but I would think that there’s plenty of room in there. Even with a large battery pack up there, there’s quite a bit of space in there relatively speaking.
@@Thercgeek Hey man. I know your pain. Space is a premium for most all of us. I had a friend get one recently. Got me interested because it’s so different from typical EDFs. I appreciate you getting back with me. 👍😊
Something about this plane that sits so real. I was worried it was going to be a squirly flight because that front wheel popped up so easy. You didn't mess around and you kept that speed up. Nice soft landing for a 7000 mAh. Great job. Thanks for sharing and keeping my dream alive. I'll take V2.
Great flight my friend. The most beautiful jet of all times for me. Big salute from Slovenia, Pilot Robert
Thank you! Agreed, it's a timeless design!
@@Thercgeek I also have this version and I love it.

As always, very nice work on the sticks Chris. I’m definitely digging the trout camo. It sounds the part too!
Thanks man!
Definitely a sweet plane Chris.....great job flying it.
Thank you!
Very nice! One of my favorite RC planes to fly
Great flight Chris
Thank you!
Gorgeous! And nice flying! I've always loved Me-262s. Thats a nice size, but have been wanting a larger one too!
They have such nice lines! I hear you on the larger one. I'd love to get a hold of the EDF kit from Airworld. Designed for twin 90mm.
Airworld's is a nice kit! I went as far as contacting Joe Saita about his kit also. But then got caught up in buying a new home. lol

Right?! Might have made things a bit more difficult, but the allies would still have prevailed. :)
NICE!!! Oh...and GREAT JOB at the Scale Nats 😎👍😁!!!
Thanks man, I really appreciate it! :)
Sold one of these NIB last year : nowhere to fly it. Beautiful plane.
Superb flying.
Thank you!
What cool planes. Great video!
Thanks!
Such a nice flying bird! Awesome job on the sticks! Just reminded me i still want one..hahaa
haha, well, I guess you're in the market again? :(
Good landin', good flyin'! Happy halloween

Cool! Yeah, the model slows down really well. Flies so sweet!
Hi - Do you have throw settings on this model? I like the way it flies.
Yeah, I did a full review. Here you go: thercgeek.com/2019/11/freewing-me-262-schwalbe-assembly-flight-review/

Chris. You still have this plane? I been looking at it here lately. You still like it? Hope all is well. 😎
I sold the airplane only because I needed to make some space. It’s still one of the better flying foam edfs out there in my mind.

pretty bird,, its in the want list
Yeah..!!! Just like that..!!
Sweet. That bird has some speed. Is this a version 2? Nice flight time too. Is that normal?
Version 1 was gray.
Yes, this is the V2. Flies so good with the V2 power systems!
Half the fun would be giving it a realistic paint scheme...but they did that already. JG 7 nice😘
They did indeed! The paint work on it is pretty awesome actually!
I'm not going to watch this video. Too jealous!
