Hi Bin, is there any way to load/import adaptive family into a generic family with its parameters? There are some solutions but Revit even doesn't show parameters when using those methods. Any suggestion? Thanks
You can load an adaptive family into another adaptive family, or a conceptual mass, not a generic model. Of course you can nest adaptive family and create and associate parameters.
Although we modeled a family that looks like a dormer window, and we can potentially add more details such as windows and tiles, I don't think this is in the correct direction. The intension is to use this family as a tool to locate the walls and roof, then add other elements, such as windows. Try to model everything under correct categories.

Can you explore little bit more this tutorial means to put window and clay tiles on roof specially on dromer roof
