Not hot here in Northern Wisconsin. I'm sitting right now and I'm kinda cold. Lol
I dont think you’re wrong about any of this. I do however think that this comes from a place of being extremely serious about deer hunting. For me, all that thought, planning, work and research really kinda sucks the fun out of it for me. I hunt one permanent blind all season long. I just like being out there. Most of the time I see deer too. I’d wager that a large portion of hunters are the same. My herds travel route is from 60 yds in front of my blind to my freezer lol. Have a great season!
I can see how it could take the fun away if you take it too seriously. But never having success or ever seeing deer because of not taking it serious enough could take the fun out too. Have to strike that balance. And I hope you have a great season too!

How do you draw in does in the early season, darn EAB rules
Hunting over food sources will most likely be your best bet up until the pre rut/rut stages. Then I’d switch to hunting near bedding areas and those trails around them. What are EAB rules?

It all comes down to being lucky no matter what you do if the deer don't pass by your stand when you are hunting you can't kill it an to me thats 96 percent of deer hunting
