Hey. I'm using a Yamaha YFL 362 open hole. And Yes, you should definitely learn standard fingerings before starting harmonics. These exercises are meant to strengthen your embouchure muscles and overall tone with the help of easier fingering alternatives, so you aren't focusing so much on the tuning and correct fingerings, but rather reaching those harmonic intervals with the appropriate amount of airspeed and support. You should be using the standard fingerings in your regular music unless indicated otherwise. Harmonics are also pretty out of tune compared to the standard fingerings!
