- Day 2 of TOC(WWBT/CA Bass Nation) at Clear Lake. Going into day 2 with the lead. The goal is to catch 5 keepers and hopefully make a top 5 finish to qualify for the Nationals.

Quite funny how you both caught a Carp on the crank baits! Seems you both figured out the same pattern for catching them in the tournament. Must say I really love catching bass on cranks myself. It’s such an aggressive bite. All the best for Nationals Damian 💪🏼🎣

Attention viewers... look at his graph! He is always around deep water with fish or deep cover/structure. He fishes high percentage areas, that's why he is so successful. He understands fish and their movements based on a seasonal pattern. Learn from this, it's good stuff.
listen to what he says and how he makes such fast and accurate adjustments. Every one of his videos will teach you something if you do more than watch him fish. it's fair to say you are watching one of the best kayakers in the game.

I need to start entering tournaments there. Every time I go salt water fishing I pass by clear lake and it never fails a 6 or 7lb on first or second cast. Same spot too. Every single time. The pic in my bio was 6 caught there on first cast.

Thanks, sorry I dont know the name of the knot. Yes i tie it due to how easy it is to tie. Im constantly retying and changing baits so this the knot i like using. As in strenght wise, its a pretty weak knot.

Thanks! I prefer to throw cranks on a 5 gear. I don’t like snaps, it does help with the baits action but I’ve had too many issues with snaps failing on me in the past.

Not sure what the knot is called but i'll try to put out a quick video on how to tie it.
SOOOO many questions - Why are you not livescoping them? Are you cranking the bottom or through the water column on suspended fish? How do you like running the Torqeedo and Xi3???
The fish I’m targeting are not suspended. They can’t be seen on the forward facing sonar. The are tucked away in the bigger rocks. Day 1 I was using my livescope only to look for structure. Day 2 I knew where all my structure was at so I didn’t need to have my livescope on. I love having the option of using both the motors. Torqeedo for speed and the Xi3 for spot lock.

Torqeedo only runs on their 33ah battery. Sucks that you can’t use other brands for it

I have those too. This one is the LC 110. Same size as the 8.0 but dives to 14ft.
