I use both chunks and fibers but only for the "wet" orchids and lately I'm thinking about getting some "coffee" cocos (very fine grounded cocos) for rooting keikies and cuttings
For very small keikies it could be the way to get them started, these are the ones the need to stay at least moist and they dry out way too fast in bark in my room

With a root system like that I just pot it on. It's just too much trouble 😁
Yes, I did that, but at some point, it need something new.
Once a year and no sooner 😁I hate it

I will do that. I just want the Gomesa to make abit more roots, before I send it. 😊
