What is the song from 2:41-2:56? I have been looking for it since I discovered this video a while ago but can't find it. I know there is more of the song because one of the trumpet players in my band used to play it all the time.
picolo has a half length, so it plays one octave higher actually, it doesn't play higher (because it depends of lips) but it is more accurate in high register
Rest in peace Larry. Thank you for all you did for me my very good friend.
I knew Larry very well in the 70's and also worked with him quite a bit. When on tour we were room mates.....May he R.I.P.
