I don't know, but it really doesn't matter career wise to be certified by SOCRA or ACRAP. They keep mentioning in the job postings that they prefer the certified candidates, but when it gets to the interview step it doesn't matter, they will choose the more experienced one. I went from clinical research assistant to clinical research associate II in just 6 years without being certified, and not even one employer asked me to go get certified!
They will if you want to be a manager or a leadership position, also it helps you negotiate a better salary
Both, ACRP and SOCRA certification are reputable and very important to move up the ladder in organizations
Sure!
thank you Dan👍👍
Always valuable information.

🤖 Thanks, Dan!
Thank you!
Thank you. I have seen a rise in these companies that offer all these certifications and "guaranteed job placement" .........hogwash!!!
What to choose between SOCRA and ACRP? What’s best for someone who to be project manager and work at global level ?
You advice will be very much helpful!
Thanks
whichever your employer pays for. If none then acrp I guess
What would you recommend for a clinical assistant wanting to move up within the next 1-2 years into CRA? I have been studying for CCRP, but now next year my work will offer ACRP membership/testing discounts. Do you recommend ACRP-CP? Or should I go straight for CCRA even though that’s not my current role?
straight for ccra if you can
@@dansfera thank you!!!
Thanks
Hi Dan. I’m currently working as veterinary research associate. What’s the certification you would suggest me to advance in my career?
I am not too familiar with veterinary. I believe they have their own GCP.
Thanks Dan!

I've been working with a local CRO as a Coordinator for about 1.5 years now. Trying to get into a hospital academic setting, but so far no interviews. Any advice on how to better my chances? Would SOCRA with 2 years of experience be worth it?
acrp better
