This was a fantastic interview with Charlie Starr and Benji Shanks of Blackberry Smoke. Brit will never be forgotten. He was an amazing person.
FANtastic Interview! I’ve seen hundreds of concerts from the Ramones to The Rolling Stones but Blackberry Smoke is THE BEST Live Band I’ve ever seen. Go buy an album or tickets & you’ll be hearing The Best Band In The Land 💜🎶☮️
I feel so blessed to have seen this band live 12 times. All 12 where with Britt, going to see them on August 31, first show without Brit for me, but his spirit will always be there. My favorite band in the biz.
Great band...fantastic bunch of genuine people. Love hearing Charlie play.
I was lucky enough to be at the show, and honored to be able to spend some time with the guys afterwards, and it did not disappoint. Lots of emotions, but at the same time so much wonderful and positive energy and love to celebrate Brit’s life and legacy. Thank you so much BBS!
Absolute love for Blackberry Smoke. RIP Brit Turner. Looking forward to the Tribute show at Chastain next Friday. We will gladly sweat with ya'll for Brit.
I never tire of hearing these guys talk, or make music. ❤️
"Leave a Scar: Live North Carolina" is one of the best live albums ever. Right up there with ABB, Live at Fillmore East.
Charlie is the man. Met and hung with him several times and he is the nicest dude ever. Best guitarist out as well.
Beautiful voice Charlie
Thats a real good feller right there
I hope we get to buy the show. I couldn’t make it but I did catch them in March. Great music. Much love to Britt and his family. From Alaska with love.
BEST BAND IN THE LAND ❤ BBS
Thank you for this. I've tears running down my face. So poignant this interview. Thank you thank you. Merci from France.
i love this guy !
You know, that’s the first time I’ve ever heard Benji speak ! Love their music, Charlie is something else.
Charlie is everything his Surname says 😁
RIP Mr Turner! Condolences to his family.
❤ Love Azalia, BlackBerry Smoke~ u all r a Blessing in my life ♡
Being a drummer, I can tell you that Brit was really solid and a perfect fit for Blackberry Smoke. I didn't know about Brit and hate to hear this news.... I love Black Berry smoke and they truly are Southern Rock royalty. There's not many bands left to carry the Southern Rock torch on.
God Bess brother Brit.. rest in peace my friend.
Good song.
I remember seeing Charlie and Brit at a small venue back when they were in Buffalo Nickel. Always enjoyed watching their chemistry on stage. Brit was a great inspiration and will be sorely missed.
I think Brit was the wheel that held the tire together so to speak,Charlie even said as much.
It’s cool how Benji picks up the leads and slides so Charlie can focus.
Great stuff love you guys and the nod to Steve Winwood on Azalea ❤
Superbe et émouvante interview...
Got my tics for Atl...RIP. Brit...don't stop BBS..further on up the road......
Blackberry Smoke: "We're not going back". Rock on BBS.
Mandolin sounds like the part in going to California
Great Interview. Anyone aware of why of all things he developed a glioblastoma? Well, ... anyway. Rest in peace Bret. We'll miss you forever.
Great song .
Anyone else got this on playback speed x 0.5 trying see how to play it 🎸
12 minutes in I stopped, too painfull to watch..
Beautiful
God bless and rest Brit Turner and God bless Blackberry Smoke. I went to a Homecoming show at the Tabernacle about 9 years ago and met Brandon and Paul at Ted Turners restaurant next door and they were so welcoming to me as a fan and just truly nice people
