    Best addition you could make, once you get use to fusion 360 to cut the parts you want it will beyond pay for itself. This will greatly increase the amount you can produce. It allows you to spend more time actually welding as opposed to cutting. Just remember you can use it building beds to grills, signs and everything else you can think of. I'm happy to see you and your family doing so well after all the oil field layoffs.

    Now you can make weld yourself roll out wheel assemblies.
    Also adapter plates to re-power SA200 to a diesel engine.
    One of the challenges with metal project is that the price of metal has gone up. Earlier this year was looking at some 2017 invoices, prices doubled since then this year alone prices have tripled.

    Looks like a $12,000-$15,000 investment. I live in the middle of nowhere in Indiana, and I just haven't felt like the investment would bring a R.O.I for YEARS out here. It would be little piddly jobs($50-$300) maybe once or twice a month. Idk. I've thought about the $5000 little table (3' × 4') but ide also have to buy a $1000 compressor, more powerful plasma, another desktop computer, fusion 360, etc...I know they have kits but, I don't have ANYONE who could teach me what to do. My work friends live an hour away and have families. My family has no clue. And my old friends have NO idea. It would be me, all alone, trying to make back $10,000 AFTER learning how to use it well. What about a cnc router table? Prolly not for steels huh. Seen 5th street fab had one, worked good on aluminum

      you would be surprised how fast word of mouth travels when you get something like this!!! & its a niche market that not everyone can do!!! have a little faith in your abilities!!!

    • @DCweldingAndArt
      @DCweldingAndArt 2 роки тому +1

      @@pisom4314 this has crossed my mind man, basically the whole "build it and they will come" type deal. Once you have one, the ideas and requests will come flowing in. I think it's just scarier than all the other machines I own due to the fact it's the ONE thing I've NEVER run by myself. And pretty darn expensive at that. I'm sure I would learn quick, like everything else I do well now. Thanks for the motivating words bud!
