Thanks man!! Looks like a lot of readers are in the camp of an omnibus rather than the Absolute... Although, I would much prefer the World of Flashpoint in Absolute format.
@@TheDeluxeEdition As much as I love Andy's work, I would rather a complete story be printed with the World of Flashpoints included. But like I said, it's not even a sure thing. :) Great video once again, btw.
Great video! I'd actually prefer an omnibus for all the main story and tie ins ($150) versus 3 absolute editions ($225). Love Flashpoint and have been wanting to read Snyders Superman Flashpoint and Azzarellos Batman Flashpoint tie ins
I never read any of the tie-ins, but I love the main Flashpoint series and would definitely double-dip for an eventual omnibus if they can collect everything in it.
I got the TPB of Flashpoint but was such a great story I hoped there would be a HC and thanks to this channel I found out, 2 years later because I missed it somehow, got this Absolute version on Amazon for £30, lucky I think as there was one copy left, thank you, liked and subbed. Edit - Luckily I have the omnibus that leads into this and have the three issue Batman tie in.
Thanks a lot for the great video and walkthrough of the different editions! It helped me decide what to buy. I'm buying the Absolute edition plus the 10th Anniversary edition coming out next year (2021), which contains all the "world of flashpoint featuring" series :D
I read Flashpoint a few years ago before watching the animated movie, and really love both. I recently read Knight of Vengeance, and it immediately became one of my favorite Bat comics. I won't be picking up the Absolute, because I think DC will make a tenth anniversary Omni, similar to Final Crisis and Blackest Night.
Great vid! I've got the Flashpoint hardcover, but double-dipped to get this too. It's just so good... Get your point about the companion stories too, but I think that's way more likely to be an omnibus than two absolutes. It's a shame: would like to see them as standard hardcovers to match the rest of the new 52 hardcover range....
Very cool. I’m thinking about picking this up as a momento to commemorate my quitting DC Comics after 20 years. This series just felt like a right place to say goodbye to all my favorite heroes. Lots of good memories.
Fantastic video to kick off 2019! Looks like a solid release, but that gutter loss on all those spreads 😭. I'd love to see DC release multi-volume or companion Absolutes to cover side stories.
I picked this book up as Andy Kubert’s art here is as good as it gets. Just beautiful layouts. And this is such a great story, it is some of Geoff Johns’s finest storytelling. Side note, I see DC has solicited a Geoff Johns Flash omnibus vol. 3 which includes Flashpoint, Flash Rebirth, and Flash 1-12 which bridges Rebirth and Flashpoint. This 23 issue run is some of my favorite superhero comics. It is so deserving of an omnibus and even though I already have Flashpoint in Absolute, I’m so grateful we’re completing Geoff John’s Flash series in omnibus. It will go perfectly with his first two volumes featuring Wally West. Now we just need to get the companion run to Geoff Johns’s Green Lantern in Green Lantern Corps in omnibus format. And for some more Flash, how about Justin Williamson’s Flash Rebirth run in omnibus. These are two of my most anticipated DC omnibuses, if they ever get solicited.
I've been very hesitant in buying the Absolute Edition for Batman Hush and Flashpoint. I know you get bonus sketches etc and the book is significantly bigger than average TP/Omni. What are the benefits of getting one? Are the pages any different
The truly oversized format is night and day compared to trades especially when it comes to Jim Lee and Andy Kuberts work... I think you are missing out if you just opt for the trade. Not all Absolutes work but Hush and Flashpoint are must haves...
It’s a real shame they didn’t include Flash Rebirh and Flash Road to Flashpoint 1-12 of Geoff Johns’s Flash series leading up to Flashpoint. From Flash Rebirth 1 thru all those issues to Flashpoint 5 we have some of Geoff Johns’s best work. They are great stories and they all go together. It is a shame they have been separated. What is a bigger shame is that Flash 1-7 and Flash Rebirth won’t even be included in the new Flashpoint Omnibus. How can they orphan these issues? They are so good! This is so disappointing DC. Please fix this. Make an Absolute Flash including Rebirth and Road to Flashpoint 1-12. This is essential Flash reading. It would redeem DC in my eyes significantly. Come on DC. Let’s do it!
Your production quality... it’s not even fair lol. Imagine if this guy reviewed statues
Gem Mint Collectibles Man... that is beyond major praise from the KING of the UA-cam Comic/Statue Comic Book community. Cheers!!
Geminites lol I'm gonna pick this up fa sho
True Gem, but your opinion still matters and I guess you need a table like this.
Gem Mint replying on The Deluxe Edition's UA-cam page is the team-up I never believed could be real, but desperately want now haha
I would 100% be down for a team up
My brother, this looks amazing! I am one of those idiots waiting for an omnibus in two more years. :)

Great video. I'm gonna add this to my collection in the next few months. Love that slipcase.

🏆Highly informative🏆 Man thankx .. this is exactly what I needed to know to complete my Library
Amazing effects in this video. Really enjoyable! Keep up the great work 😊
Quite impressive collection!
Another awesome video ALEX! Keep it up.
I love your content, you should do an explanation of the Button issue. Greetings from mexico
Amazing book and storyline but im hoping that it will be all collected in a omnibus.
Great video as usual👍

Awesome!!! I still haven't pulled the trigger on buying the omnibus. There's just so much great releases lately with the big two!
Really informative review! Based on your overview I had to back order the 5 trade paperbacks as well as the this absolute. Thanks Bro!
Thanks so much!!! I hope you get your copies soon. Try instocktrades.com if you can purchase from them... They look to have them in stock.
Thanks a lot for the great video and walkthrough of the different editions! It helped me decide what to buy.

I’ve pre-ordered this item can’t wait! Please do a collection
Thanks Alex. Awesome video

Cool
Every video you do makes me wanta buy even more. Lol
Imagine if I did this full time with a video every other day ;)
@@TheDeluxeEdition I'd be in heaven if that were the case. Can you please get fired from your job.
Great video. Very informative. The Flash Point Absolute is a day one must have. Keep up the great work. 👊✌

I got mine yesterday, disappointed they didn't include the classic cover from the TPB.
Great review!
The Batman tie in was very effective, even though ALL of 'em were awesome.
Absolutely agree! World of Flashpoint is so good that it deserves its own Absolute!
@@TheDeluxeEdition yuuup
Artwork is amazing on the book and cover
Andy is da man!
Yeeep
I was recommended by my LCS to get this absolute edition along with the Batman tie-in...
Cool
So when can we expect knightfall trilogy part 2? Btw amazing video 😁
Thank You!! Parts 2 and 3 will be sprinkled throughout the year .
9:34 "it would be absolute insanity"... insanity has been announced to be released on April 2021 :D :D
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to you as well!!

Muito bom video.
I think I'll get this then if an omnibus is released I'll just sell it. Wouldn't want to miss out on this beauty.
Indeed! Who knows when the Omnibus will drop.
I think I would prefer an omnibus that has the main story with all the tie-ins included.
Binding issue is a deal breaker for me.

now plzzzzzzz do batman by jeph loeb and tim sale omnibus
Just needs an Omnibus to call it good, cant stand having to chase around for all of the other material.
1:25 “May 2001”? Don’t you mean 2011?
Put alot of thought into it. Skip.
They're called Amazons and not Amazonians!
