I basically just used electronics out of another brushed RC truck, so use the esc receiver combo, the servo and transmitter... i didn't buy anything at all. Thanks for watching mate
Hi mate, this runs off a circuit board that has a built in receiver as it's basically a large toy grade truck, so you wouldn't just be able to install a futaba receiver by itself, you have to actually fit an esc as well. What i did with this truck is installed a spare brushed 2 in 1 esc receiver combo i had laying around from a Xinlehong 9125 rc truck as it has 2 sets of motor wires for the front and rear motors so it's now fully proportional. In your case if you wanted to run your futaba transmitter and receiver you also would need to run it off an independent brushed ESC, hope that helps! Thanks for watching 👍
I use 104001 electronics but the problems are stock 104001 servo is very weak, cannot fully turn right or left. Another issue is the stock esc reverse power is set i think maybe 40 or 50%.so not enough power to reverse when stuck in grass.
Just want to ask, if I'll be buying extra batteries for this RC car, what voltage should I get? Is12v okay? Or I still need to buy a converter from 8.4v to 12v?
Bro, my RC is the same as your brother's too, rock crawler 609e too, I want to ask, where do we buy the gear box and knuckle, bro? rc like the one we have, so I want to ask, who knows, bro, do you know where there are people who sell gear boxes and knuckles? Please answer yes bro, because I really need it🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@PERTHWESTOZRC Will do , If you are still modding this , I made an adaptor to convert the front servo to a normal hobby one. just print out and bolt up. search 609e on thingverse or www.thingiverse.com/thing:4860180
To modify this truck to fully proportional controls I used some parts from another hobby grade rc truck that I had laying around, but in your case you would have to buy an ESC, receiver transmitter and servo separately, thanks for watching Joebert 👍
Time to hit the rocks 🪨👍
Incredible job on these mods Dave. This thing is a beast!
Nice job. I did the same. The 9125 servo stripped it's gears pretty fast. I went with wltoys metal gear servo. Seems to be holding up better.
Love, the look of this. Made something impressive out of a toy. Well at least a alot better toy. Nice job, bet it'll run great! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Noice, can't wait to see it action 😁
that should be much better now, the actual truck does look really good , cant wait to see it in action 😀 👍
Bro I actually love the Style of that Body , 👍looks great, can't wait to see the full video Dave 👍🤗👍
Looking good, keen to see it running with the new setup!
Looks like a fun project.
Looks good Dave. Looking forward to seeing this one in action 👍💥
Good job Dave, I ordered the 9125 esc so that I can use a lipo battery. I don't know if I will replace the shocks but I might add the light bar.
Nice project 👍👍
Very very nice job bro 😍 👍🏽
Looks great I love it 👌🏽💯🦾🏎
Keep it up and stay safe ✌️🏽 😎 🏄🏽
Very cool!👍🍻
awesome mods and cool rc
the video is really amazing cool my brother ..
😍😍😍😍
💯💯💯👍
🤜🤛
I got o e yesterday and thought it would be good and want to upgrade
Nice!!
How long the rc can still work bro?, it's still working until now?
Niceness
Hi, I have the same. what control is that? Can I put 3000 mah battery on this? Good job 👍
Hi thanks for watching, the controller and esc is from a xinlehong 9125 truck which is the same as the Hosim 9125, hope that helps
I know it's been a few years but any suggestions on where I can get upgrades for this now? I would love to mod this truck!

adjust the springs to lower it and i bet you like it more
just curious is the receiver easy to swap out from the stock receiver? thinking about putting a futaba in ..... somehow

Ah that's a bit of a shame that the 1O4OO1 electronics aren't good enough for the truck, thanks for sharing 👍
@@PERTHWESTOZRC will try aftermarket 60A esc soon with 3s lipo and g996r servo.hope it will work better.
Just want to ask, if I'll be buying extra batteries for this RC car, what voltage should I get? Is12v okay? Or I still need to buy a converter from 8.4v to 12v?
Stick with the stock batteries if you are not going to modify it with a aftermarket setup, 12v will fry the board otherwise, thanks for watching
Can you suggest an alternative battery for this RC car, just want to have an extra battery
Can I use a 9v battery instead of 8.4v?
I wouldn’t but that’s up to you
@@kingalbertramos7072 You should be able to find 8.4v batteries online.

As far as i know there are no spare parts for this truck as it is classed as a toy grade, not a hobby grade. thanks for watching
🇮🇪. Cool
can you change the tires or get spares for this model?
Have a look on banggood they possibly have spares for this truck, thanks for watching

Good job 👍
What battery do you recommend I don’t want to spend much tho
Hi there I just use a 2s 7.4v lipo around 1500mah.
@@PERTHWESTOZRC …………5 lol
Lol
This vehicle looks good Btw why dont u use the battery it comes with it? İts 2000mah it should have More power right?
Itu belinya di mana?
Which high speed motor can I fit in this 609e?
I’m not sure as I never changed the motors on mine, I just run it on 3s lipo for more speed and power
OK thanks
What's the codes for esc & remote?
The protocol is that of the xinlehongtoys and Haiboxing also
:( im gonna buy that but how will i mod it im 11 and im from Philippines

nice
but
almost no turn degree @-@
It turns fine with dual rate set high and when running the truck, cheers for watching
Nice project 👍🏁
