Evolution Of Hungary F1 1986 - 2023

Today we look at the Evolution of the Hungarian Grand Prix, A race which first took place on the 21st June in 1936 at a track laid out in Népliget, a park in Budapest. The event would only be held once and wouldn't see Hungary hold a Grand Prix for another 50 years. Grand Prix racing returned in Hungary in 1986 and has been held on the F1 calendar at the Hungaroring ever since! So sit back and watch a 37 year evolution of the Hungaroring. Enjoy!

As a Hungarian I always surprised how stable the Hungaroring in the calendar, while Germany or France don't even have a Grand Prix

Mate, as a fellow Hungarian, with all confidence I’m inclined to assert, that Hungaroring will be in the calendar until this organisation as FIA, and the whole sport exists..

First even winner on hungaroring was Nelson Piquet, that beated Ayrton Senna for the victory and performed on Senna, on that race, the best overtake in the history of F1
