Memories - so great to be a kid when this was on - modern culture people can't relate to this nostalgia and how happy and treasured these simpler and happier times were.
God i miss the tv shows from the 70's and 80's. with great family stories and great theme songs like this!!! this was one of the best canadian tv series ever. i think every kid in canada grew up watching this show!
I need that "Maybe tomorrow...I'll wanna settle down" shirt. I was brought here by a rerun of Corner Gas, the episode "The Littlest Yarbo". I miss old CTV and CBC programs that had that certain Canadiana and showed it to the world in syndication.
I would watch this all the time when I was like 7 or 8 at my grandmas she showed me one episode and I got hooked so fast I would always try and catch the show
I am only 12, but I remember when I was 3 or 4, me and my dad sat in front of our tv set and watched this show, the most vivid scene I remember was when a boy fell off his bike and cut his leg open or something. I believed I watched the second series, which was filmed on video tape in Toronto.
Why I went on to love Quantum Leap that idea you can watch one episode without the ones before & after. That is a brilliant song. I had forgotten what the dog looked like, should still be repeated on TV.
Every time we used to go in our caravan we used to listen to this on repeat and now I'm sat eating Ben and jerrys crying my eyes out looking at pictures from holiday 😭😭😭
This reminds me so much of traveling on foot hundreds of miles. Its so much more beauty when you see every piece of the world around you, You take in every breathe, Get aggrevated when you don't reach the next town when you want to but it is definitely worth it all.
What a shame I never saw THIS serie, and the music is so great.I love dogs so much.I guess Hobo goes his own way. This sery was never on the Dutch tv.👌👌👌
Oh, wild America, mile on mile, of lonesome blissful roads, fresh air, vast horizons, and travellers met along the way through that great myth-land. Oh fleeting seconds of ecstasy in considering the beauty and wonder of all things, as life continues all around and takes the poetical mind to heaven!!!
+Mr. Gamer Tech The very first episode had Ricky listening to this in his car, the S10 ending brought me right back to S1 again. I got half a bottle of captain morgans dark rum today and no work, im getting drunk as fuck
+Para-Dice Rider it was actually when he gave all his money to the Encyclopedia sales woman to get books for Trinity and lost everything, that they show him watching it on TV
The original theme for this series is a different song entirely. The 1979-1985 version was a continuation of the 1960's series, which itself was based on a 1958 movie of the same name. I only found that out last month. Anyway, the original theme is eFIj9oJmF6w (youtube number) but I still prefer this one.
What is the name of this song because very time i listen to it, it always make me cry and i did love the program on saturdays mornings when i was little.
holy crap me as well I came on here to see if i could find the original , this is a cover (just check out the difference in that whistly synth part in the intro.) Maybe there isn't a good enough quality version on here to use.
Hahaha I always wondered if he was a cop dog that just seen to much and quit. But just couldn't shake his awesome detective skills. Oh littlest Hobo . Maybe tomorrow .
I can't help feeling nostalgia for what were far better times. Miss Hobo, she was such a cute and smart dog.
oh was a she... didn't know that. The dog's name is London though.
Bloody well went and made me get tears in my eyes!
Memories - so great to be a kid when this was on - modern culture people can't relate to this nostalgia and how happy and treasured these simpler and happier times were.
same :> I couldn't watch it often, but if it was on tv and I saw it I had to watch :> 44 now, but been tmpted to watch it :>
Well I mean I’m 13 and I have seen the reruns of it and I cherish it so much
I couldn't agree more. Modern society has lost a certain magic.
