Pyotr Nikolskiy was born and lived last years in Russia. But, he studied and became doctor at Ukraine ( at Kyiv 1884). And long time work as doctor and scientist at Warsaw. He knew few different foreign languages. Just a little notes about him
You are doing a great work Dr.Ryan! Thank you for your work! It is your videos which makes me feel confident enough to study by myself. With the limited amount of time I got, I am glued to your channel watching all of your videos(with few breaks that I need). If I clear the boards(I hope I do), all credits to you sir!
A logic way to memorize pemphigus than pemphigoid is that in pemphigus it is named vulgaris ( something dirty ) because desomsomes which bind cells together are attacked like bomb on a building , while in pemphegoid it tears the two layers like a knife clean cut from the basement membrane

Thanks for the question! Systemic lupus erythematosus is the most common form of lupus, and it can be either chronic or acute in presentation. Not sure I have a good answer for you since both are possible!
