this game is the only decent truck sim game where you can get out and walk around buying stuff and such

25mph is common for residential/in town limits. 55mph is country driving, 60-70mph is for clearer highways/interstates. Being that it is alaskan, the speeds may be lower due to frozen roads, ice patches yet, or rough terrain. You dont want a semi jacknifed in the wilderness or a country road between small towns

Those lines in the back of the cabin are the air supply lines. There are two of them: blue(prime) and red(emergency brake). The third line which is missing in this game is the electrical line(green).
Yes, but both of the "airlines" in this game are modeled like the electrical line. There are no actual airlines in this game.
Very realistic for a trucker, flashing your lights and going full Audi, 1mm away from the driver in front even though they're doing the speed limit, then overtaking and holding up traffic being a 40mph wnakcker.

Looks like a fun game. Please continue, Also the lines you connect to the trailer usually contain a air line to suppluy air to the trailer brakes.
25 is a common speed limit in the us . If you are in town or in a dirty 25 is the normal . Coming into town is usually 35 but populated areas is 25
Wish there were other ai 18 wheelers on the map with a different variety of cabs and trailers. Don't like the idea that you are basically the only driver in the entire state

It's Alaska in spring/summer, so yeah, it stays light late. They're easing you into it with the campaign! Also you lost that 1% going fast on a decline just before the dropoff. Maybe went on the side of the road a bit.

I Believe the lines to the trailer are for electrical for lights and an air line for the trailer brakes 😊
Those plugs are for one is air for the trailer and the other is lights on trailer.

So speed limits in the US go a little something like this and I'm using my city as an example, so 25mph for residential roads, 35mph to 55mph for main roads and 60mph on the highway, however some states can go higher or lower in speed from 55mph to 80mph. hope this helps a bit.

Speed limits are just more of a suggestion 🤷🏻♂️😂 in certain towns, yes you should do the speed limit
Here in Alaska, especially up north, you'll see speed drops on bridges due to wind danger and winter conditions

I'm ok with most of things but I don't like how the driver holds the steering wheel… it's annoying when you make slight turns.
I wish they fix that and make it like how Snowrunner's driver moves his hands and holds the steering wheel… more realistic and less annoying.
Funny things with this game is, the distance decrease 0.1 miles per second when you going 30 mph... how?

This game looks and plays so horribly with crappy gimmicks & janky animations. Was supposed to be a competitor to ETS2/ATS but is nowhere near the quality
1 year ago they had a trial version... It looked and feels better than this. Idk what happened in 1 year... Felt like a huge downgrade. Even they changed the name from Alaskan truck simulator to.. Alaskan road truckers
Agreed... also no licensed trucks is an instant fail anyway in my book. And this looks like a ps3 game

When it comes to trucking games, SCS is the unbeaten top dog. Their games are seriously light years ahead of competition. Snowrunner is the closest exception but it's a different type of game (off-road), but as long as the experience of long haul trucking is concerned, ETS 2 and ATS are the best, even though their graphics might be outdated
What could u expect from such a small group of developers? The game is alright, but the graphics don't match the performance

This guy (mr riot) drives a GTR wow a GTR my favourite car, I would love to see your PC specs. Your channel is doing great I love watching your videos which help me decide whether or not I’m going to buy, I’m on the fence with this one because I have Euro Truck Simulator 2 which I enjoy lots. At around 2010 I went in to gamestation now gone bust I think but saw euro truck sim 1 advertised for £4 so I took it to the counter and they said no that game is £20 and I disputed the fact that if something is advertised at a price on the shelf then the shop has to honour that and I know because I work in retail. Anyway I said no I’m not paying that! (I didn’t have the £20 they said they wanted) I think they just wanted to rip me off but I’m calmly called billy hunt not silly c@nt. So it’s taken me since 2010 to get a trucking game and a laptop to play it on that I’ve always wanted.
i know every game has its audience but this one ain't for me. still love ya though, Scott!
