      I love the wood/wire bottom but where do you put the plug if you use the heater plate? the plug will lift the lid.

      @@WhoisMichelleCollie if you want to use a plate you can snip a square of the top wire out. Probably wouldn't be a terrible idea for us to add a hole in the side though. Thanks for the feedback!

      @@dalesquails3543 best of both world. you can put a lamp on top and also If you get the plate theres a hole to put the plug thru. . btw will be buying your cage just need to save up.. senior here lol

    I enjoyed listening to this while working, just ordered this same brooder after watching. The outdoor noises in the background were really nice, wish I could live on a farm and work outside!

    Great job. I like that design with the top so you can open one side. This will be a nice upgrade from a tote brooder and the cost is reasonable.

    Thanks for showing how to put it together👍 as I did not have any instructions,screws or glue. It goes together pretty easy but I would never figured out the 1st part.

    I was wireing cage doors yesterday and my electric stapler went down missed maybe half a ream of staples before I got the eye for the manual.

    Will I be able to put 60 hatchlings in that? I doubt I'll get a 100% hatch rate but I like to plan for it. My eggs arrive today...hopefully.

      About 20 would fit in there comfortably
