Interesting topic and discussion since there a large number of South Africans don't know their rights and going about the Law side of things going about protecting and positioning yourself to defend yourself, there is a huge change that needs to happen so that we know our future.
At workplaces we sometimes cooperate on sexual harassment by thinking they're just joking kanti umbhemu uSerious. We lead them on, yes we do, unaware though.
This is very good. I'm in thr process of going through this as my manager has been very unethical and got me fired unfairly... But they company does cover up for these managers and it's very hard for employees to win cases when companies cover up everything while you as an employee are suffering to get these cases sorted out.
Bra David, comments section is very important it gives you feedback on which you can improve the show or offering. Because at the end of the day we consume your content
Thank you Nthabiseng and David for the insightful discussion. @David, just a little correction, insubordination a se go "tella" i.e. being disrespectful but rather refusal to carry out a lawful and reasonable instruction from your superiors or boss. "Insolence" is go tella i.e. being disrespectful, rude and impolite or impudent to your superiors. I must concede that there is a blurry line between the two because they both boarder on challenging the authority of your superior or boss... and in practice, based on the principle of "Competent Verdict" charging an employee of insubordination instead of insolence (or vis versa) may not make that much of a difference. The chairperson must find the employee guilty based on the evidence presented not how the charges were categorised...
