Greetings for the West Coast of Canada. Great Vid. I bought (in 1967 - at a ripe age of 17) the Canadian pressing on Columbia of Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits that had the Milt Glaser Poster included. Dug out my LP just to confirm I still had it (in mint condition). Plan now is to play the LP this afternoon. Awesome year 1967. I waited outside one of the local record stores to open on June 1st 1967 (Canada release date) and bought the first copy of Sgt Pepper - Beatles - stereo version. 1967 a.k.a Summer of Love !!
Nice video, thanks. Record shopping in Japan is a great experience. Tower Records has a whole floor devoted to vinyl, about 40% is used stock & I found some good stuff there. Most stores have cheap discounted vinyl bins. I think the majority of new Japanese pressings are local artists but they do press some reissues there, like the Dylan series.
@chriss6302 Thanks for watching and contributing to the discussion. John didn't get to TOWER. Someday I hope to. You must have great memories there. Keep rockN
I love finding Japanese vinyl imports. They contain OBI strip and inserts. Just the attention to detail is so much better than vinyl releases here in the US. I was able to acquire all 3 Bob Dylan Greatest Hits album releases from CDJapan. Thank you for sharing the information on Japanese vinyl imports.
